It's the gayest night on television!
No, really. Ryan Murphy's newest cash cow The Glee Project is committing the musical theater cardinal sin: airing opposite the Tonys tonight. Theater folk, which one will you watch? Obviously, the Tonys. But just in case you want your commercial breaks to be filled with song and dance too, you can head over to Oxygen and check this one out.
The Glee Project will see 12 talented teens competing against one another every week to win a seven-episode guest-starring role on Glee. Man, this Glee stuff is getting really cult-y, isn't it? Anyway, tonight we'll meet the contestants, who are all ridiculously over-the-top (besides my favorite, the dreadlocked fellow who looks like he doesn't know what he's doing there). Each episode will feature Glee cast members coaching and interacting with the contestants, and tonight's is Darren Criss (!!). So forget everything I just said, because he's reason enough to watch.
The Glee Project airs at 9 PM on Oxygen.
