After a season of guy love, house parties, misogynistic jokes, and general unprofessionalism, Franklin & Bash's first season is coming to an end tonight. Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Breckin Meyer did the buddy comedy thing on TNT this summer as lawyers who didn't go by the book but worked for a big organization that did. They just happen to get high profile, scandalous cases thrown their way every single episode, as well as all the ladies. So obviously, shenanigans -- and by shenanigans I mean boring plotlines and lackluster one-liners -- followed.
As the somewhat inept TNT has given the show a second season, we'll be relieved of the boys of summer for at least a little while, but not before tonight's last hurrah. Franklin and Bash are teaming up with a "hotshot" lawyer played by Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer to defend their boss Stanton Infeld, who has been accused of -- you guessed it -- murder! Danny Trejo also guest-stars as a wrestler who wants justice after being told he's too old to compete. Hmm. Franklin and Bash are too old to be acting the way they do, but you don't see them asking for justice...
The season finale of Franklin & Bash airs tonight at 9 PM on TNT. (PS -- if you want to watch a good buddy comedy about lawyers, try Suits tomorrow night.)

This show is definitly a guilty pleasure. Non-thinking fun. Surprisingly the only thing that gets me is that they win Every. Single Case. There's never a question that they'll win.
Eh, I don't know why everyone hates on this show so much. It's charming enough and totally adequate for summer viewing.
Does anyone know the real name of the woman that played the judge in the season finale episode
Gates McFadden from Star Trek The Next Generation
