BLOGS
Two of the biggest pop culture icons of the '60s and '70s share a stage for a chat about their illustrious pasts. In one chair, you've got the director of such seminal comedies as The Producers, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein and Spaceballs (we won't bring up Dracula: Dead and Loving It if you won't), and opposite him there's the late-night chat show host who traded witticisms and barbs with such folks as John and Yoko and Groucho Marx.
Taped before a live L.A. audience in late 2010, this hour-long special finds Brooks revisiting his famous "2000 Year Old Man" routine, while Cavett reflects on the many hours of television he logged plumbing the psyches of the rich and famous. It may be little more than a celebratory victory lap, but if anyone has earned it, it's these guys.
Mel Brooks and Dick Cavett Together Again airs tonight at 9pm on HBO and is immediately followed by a showing of the mediocre Steve Carell comedy Dinner For Schmucks. Just imagine what Brooks coulda done with that...

I seldom drop remarks, however I looked through a few comments on this page Friday, September 9, 2011: Mel Brooks and Dick Cavett Together Again - Going Through Channels Blog - TV Shows & Daily Picks | TWoP. I actually do have 2 questions for you if you do not mind. Could it be just me or does it look like some of the responses come across like they are written by brain dead visitors? :-P And, if you are writing on other sites, I'd like to keep up with anything new you have to post. Could you post a list of every one of all your social networking sites like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you'll know which is right for you.
