BLOGS
If you're an adult watching The Real World you know what you're going to get, especially considering that this is the (gulp) 26th season: hookups, tears, confrontations about sexuality (but, like, lame ones) and drinking. You can watch the trailer for this upcoming season in San Diego here, or you can read these hand-picked totally unedited comments from MTV.com that I think sum up the mood, thoughts and predictions going into this season. I should mention there was a lot of cheering for a "real" lesbian and many complaints about how white-washed the cast is. Okay, without further ado...
"Okay. This REALLY looks boring. This show use to be meaningful, and nowit's just become all about getting drunk and having sex, and then waking up the next morning and fighting. And the fights aren;t even ENTERTAINING. MTV: Cancel this show, and just make continuous cycles of the Challenge."
"meh."
"Please MTV get rid of this group they are boring and lame....We the People want more Challenges...more Road Rules... more Rivals we are tired of the same drama on each Real World its all the same just different stupidity"
"I am not excited one bit...they are all look like a bunch of shealterd tools aww so cute so boring. Im seeing alot of heart to hearts and drunking fights over petty bs coming... Im such a RW fan I will give the first ep a chance and see. I just wish that MTV would expand on their filming locations. What the hell is in SD anyway? Comic Con? A beach? We need another overseas RW."
"BAD GIRLS CLUB!!!!!!!!!! REAL WORLD IS LAME"
The premiere of The Real World: San Diego airs tonight at 10 PM on MTV.

"I should mention there was a lot of cheering for a "real" lesbian"
What exactly do you mean by "real" lesbian? Someone who is 100% allergic to penis? If so, good luck...
I doubt a "real lesbian" would have the lack of self esteem and greediness necessary to appear on this show. They tend to not want to be tools for mass entertainment for the likes of the TWOP staff.
So, by your logic, can we get some "real heterosexuals" on this show as well?
I wish there was a twelve-step program to get off BMP shows. Last season in Las Vegas (*eyeroll*), we wound up with two mentally healthy human beings with Leroy and Mike, and they formed one of the more endearing bromances in BMP history. I can't say this season will measure up, especially when compared to the original San Diego edition.
Quick reminder: this show hasn't been on for 26 years. It'll be twenty next year . . . they veered from the annual editions in 2002 when they filmed in Chicago in mid-2001.
check out this great review on first episode. More to follow http://bit.ly/pZBp3X
Its Adam and eve not Adam and Steve. I'd rather get kicked in the balls than watch these gays try to shove the gay community on "normal people" yeah I said it see ya in hell :)
