Even if you've missed the first three episodes of Person of Interest, there's no need to worry: the drama is totally "getable" and "penetrable" according to co-creator and executive producer J.J. Abrams. Instead of the complex blink-and-you'll-never-understand-the-next-eight-episodes story arcs that Lost and Alias had, all you need to know about this procedural is that there are cameras. A whole lot of them.
In tonight's episode, Reese and Finch surveil the latest POI (fancy police procedural lingo!), a Dr. Megan Tillman, and try to figure out what's threatening her. At the same time, Reese is trying to shake off Detective Carter, an NYPD officer investigating him, because when you're running around after people and presumed dead, someone is going to figure out you're actually alive, since it's, y'know, a pretty big deal.
Person of Interest airs tonight at 9 PM on CBS.
