As we've previously stated, each episode follows a different desperate teen struggling with his or her weight loss coach to shed those unwanted, yet so easy to maintain pounds, from the last painful days of high school to the first days as the new guy/girl on campus with a (hopefully) slimmer body. Will they lose the weight? Will MTV fabricate story lines about each teen finding himself? Will they cry, kick and scream their entire way through exercising and dieting? Will they gain their freshman 15, plus some, a few months into college? Or will they continue down the path of the fabulous, slim college life while MTV's cameras are still rolling? And, most importantly: How many hours of the inevitable eight-hour marathon will you end up watching in a single sitting, captivated by their pained expressions and determination to be "the new, improved me"?
