Unlike the CMAs, ACMs and CMT Music Awards (which doesn't have enough abbreviation, evidently -- maybe the CMTMAs?), the ACAs determine winners solely through fan votes. Trace Adkins and Kristin Chenoweth will host the second-ever awards show from Las Vegas, with performances from Blake Shelton, Alabama, Pistol Annies, Toby Keith, the Band Perry, Scotty McCreery, Thompson Square, and Eli Young Band. Hopefully McCreery has perfected his lip syncing since the Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The American Country Awards air tonight at 8 PM on Fox.
