While this show has been in the news over the past few years for being duped and bankrupting the people its tried to help, no one can say that it doesn't have more heart than the original Extreme Makeover. More importantly, it helped inspire viewers over the years and made reality TV a slightly less slimy business. And, you know, people really seem to like Ty Pennington, so more power to 'em.

The series finale(ish) of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition airs tonight at 8 PM on ABC, opposite the Season 4 winter premiere of Kitchen Nightmares on Fox.
