Before I got myself in a tizzy over this whole "old lady bachelorette" mumbo-jumbo, I did all of three seconds of Internet research before I found out [MINOR SPOILER ALERT] that the senior is only on the show as a scheme to introduce her granddaughter. Lame... it's not like I would have expected her to have a chance at winning, but she so could have been invited back for Bachelor Pad, and I'm sure Kasey and Jake would have come back just to fight over her. Sigh.

The Season 16 premiere of The Bachelor is tonight at 8 PM on ABC, opposite the winter premieres of How I Met Your Mother on CBS and Pretty Little Liars on ABC Family.
