The new HBO series Luck premieres tonight. Hey, football's not on, so at least give it a shot.
Created by Deadwood and NYPD Blue mastermind David Milch and executive produced by The Last of the Mohicans, Heat and Miami Vice genius Michael Mann (who also directs the pilot), Luck follows fresh-out-of jail Chester "Ace" Bernstien (played by Dustin Hoffman) and the lives of horse racers, betters and bookies in their quest for the finer things in life through the thrill of the tracks.
The series premiere of Luck is tonight on HBO at 9 PM. If Seabiscuit stories aren't your thing, you can always opt to watch the Screen Actors Guild Awards on TNT or TBS, starting at 8 PM instead.

I don't relaly know if we need A.J. to be A.J. I think we need A.J. to be CC. If A.J. pitches the way he usually does, he'll walk a bunch of guys, strike out a bunch of guys, be wildly inconsistent, win 11 games and throw 160 innings.
I think alot of attisrs are quite resistant to the idea of professional organisation help because they don't really understand what it involves, so I will be laying out what happens here for everyone.
