The new cop show NYC 22 follows six rookies through their first days on the job. Among them is an ex-journalist, a former basketball superstar, a fourth-generation officer, an Iraq War vet, an Afghani native just trying to live the American dream and the offspring of a gang family attempting to go straight. And besides crime, it's also got a few love stories as well, so it's the best of both worlds. You will never want to go back to Law and Order: SVU again... that is, if you ever started watching it in the first place. And, if none of these reasons convince you to tune in, please just watch for the beautiful Stark Sands.

The series premiere of NYC 22 airs tonight at 10 PM on CBS.
