Tonight is the Season 21 premiere of The Amazing Race. With that high of a number, you'd think they'd have run out of ideas by now. Luckily, whoever's in charge of casting is always able to find racers with intriguing and/or quirky backstories. This season's group includes two Chippendale dancers, a metal band bassist and double amputee pro-snowboarder Amy Purdy. Every year they just keep reeling us back in.

The Season 21 premiere of The Amazing Race is on at 8 PM on CBS, opposite the Season 2 premiere of Once Upon a Time on ABC and the Season 24 premiere of The Simpsons on FOX. After that is the Season 3 premiere of Bob's Burgers at 8:30 PM on FOX. At 9 PM are the Season 7 premiere of Dexter on Showtime, the Season 11 premiere of Family Guy on Fox, the Season 4 premiere of The Good Wife on CBS, the Season 3 finale of The Great Food Truck Race on Food Network and the Season 2 premiere of Revengeon ABC. Ending the night are the Season 2 premiere of Homeland on Showtime, the reunion special of The Real Housewives of New Jersey on Bravo and the series premiere of 666 Park Avenue on ABC, all at 10 PM.
