Airing as part of PBS's Great Performances series, Magical Mystery Tour Revisited looks back at the making of the that oh-so-'60s film -- as well as the controversy it inevitably inspired -- with lots of archival on-set footage and new interviews from surviving Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, as well as noted directors Terry Gilliam and Martin Scorsese. We're not so surprised that the maker of Brazil and Time Bandits is a fan of Magical Mystery Tour, but Scorsese? Although that would explain why his music video for Michael Jackson's "Bad" is so weird.

Magical Mystery Tour Revisited airs on most PBS stations at 9 PM, followed by the film itself at 10 PM. Also at 9 PM is a new episode of Fringe on Fox and another installment of Howie Mandel's game show Take It All on NBC.
