Tonight is the fall finale of The Mentalist, and in an attempt to make this show interesting for those under the age of 60, we'll see the team investigating the death of a botanist and discovering a medical marijuana empire. The episode will also include the return of Samaire Armstrong as Summer, which is a horrible naming coincidence for any fans of The OC. If somehow none of this is appealing, don't worry, holiday season is in full swing and there are plenty of Christmas movies/specials/episodes on tonight.

The Season 5 fall finale of The Mentalist is on tonight at 10 PM on CBS, opposite the series premiere of Sin City Rules on TLC. Also on tonight is the two-hour Season 21 finale of The Amazing Race at 8 PM on CBS.
