This charming series features our favorite Lost boy and hobbit globe-trotting to examine new cultures and play with weird (and occasionally deadly) animals. His impish delight as he finds new creatures is compelling, and he's less grouchy than Anthony Bourdain is on his global adventures.

In tonight's finale, Dom goes to Guatemala in search of a Beaded Lizard and it looks like he plays with some toxic toads. And we realize that makes it sound like some half-assed Crocodile Hunter nonsense, but Dom's personality and enthusiasm for nature is what really sells this show.

It airs on BBC America at 10 PM, which is actually after the 2-hour Dance Moms, so you can watch Abby Lee Miller scream at small children and then catch the end of this wildlife series.
