Brad Paisley may be an "Accidental Racist", but he's definitely co-hosting the 47th Annual Country Music Association Awards with Carrie Underwood again. It will mark the sixth consecutive year that the country music stars emcee the event together, which is great, because it keeps Paisley away from fellow CBS awards show hoster LL Cool J.
Will Breaking Bad finally win Outstanding Drama Series and knock Homeland off its ledge? Can The Big Bang Theory upstage Modern Family in the Outstanding Comedy Series category? Will host Neil Patrick Harris wow us once again with his song/dance/comedy/all-encompassing talent? We can't answer the first two (though all signs point to yes), the third one is a given: NPH is going to bring the house down.
The VMAs pride themselves on being a night of surprises, but thanks to the Stephen Colbert debacle, we know for sure that Daft Punk will be making a "surprise" appearance at the ceremony. It's also a pretty safe bet to assume that fellow performer Lady Gaga will wear something outrageous when she debuts her new single "ARTPOP" and Kanye West will say something outrageous. So maybe this year it will be best to expect the expecting.
