Forget flowers, chocolates and fancy dinners: We're excited that we get to spend our Valentine's Day in the sun tonight for long-awaited Season 3 premiere of Cougar Town!

Remember how last year during the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, as soon as we saw Snoopy soar over NYC's streets, the announcer said, "Snoopy fans will be happy to know that next year, a new Peanuts animated special will be flying your way." No? Well, it doesn't matter anyway -- that new Peanuts special is on tonight, and it's got everything a Peanuts special should.

I should probably be more ashamed that I watch, and laugh, at this show every week, but there is something about this drunken group of friends that somehow appeals to me, even when they are doing ridiculously stupid things. I mean, this isn't exactly groundbreaking television, but it doesn't make me want to bang my head against a wall in the way that watching the Idol results show does, so I'll take it.

Arrested Development fans, your day is finally here...assuming you thought your day was going to include the premiere of an animated series about a bunch of obnoxious teachers at an underperforming Florida high school. For that's just what Mitchell Hurwitz (take a look-see at our interview with him and Will Forte here!), and apparently two executive producers from Two and a Half Men, have brought us. Seems like an unlikely choice -- and yes, the humor will be broader and raunchier, but it's animated so that sort of mitigates the squeam factor -- but with Mitch Hurwitz at the wheel, I'm willing to go for a drive.
