The less adorkable Deschanel sister returns to TV tonight, and while she may not have a Schmidt she does have Angel himself so really it's a tie.

The eighth season of Bones premieres tonight, and hopefully it won't leave fans waiting too long to find out whether Bones actually went on the run after last season's finale. It's a little hard to believe that seven years later there's still romantic cliffhangers on this show, but shippers have to be sustained by something. Surely there will be enough forlorn glances and loaded conversations to keep everyone interested and force the will-they-or-won't-they dynamic until the series finally ends.

The Season 8 premiere of Bones is on tonight at 8 PM, followed by the series premiere of The Mob Doctor at 9 PM, both on Fox. At 10 PM the latest J.J. Abrams show Revolution premieres on NBC, opposite the Season 2 premiere of Be Good Johnny Weir on Logo.
