Election season is over, so SNL needs something to get your attention.

It may not quite be December yet, but Thanksgiving is over and the pumpkin lattes have been replaced by peppermint mochas: it's officially the holiday season. NBC is really getting into the spirit with the Saturday Night Live: SNL Christmas airing tonight, followed by Christmas in Rockefeller Center. There have been some great SNL holiday sketches, so there's plenty of material for an actually funny special. As for Christmas in Rockefeller Center, well if they're going for a realistic feel, it'll be crowded, overwhelming and disappointing.

The two-hour Saturday Night Live: SNL Christmas is on tonight at 9 PM, right after the one-hour Christmas in Rockefeller Center at 8 PM, both on NBC. Also on tonight is the Season 1 finale of Life After Top Chef on Bravo, opposite the Season 1 finale of Toy Hunter on Travel, both at 9 PM. Later is the Season 2 finale of Couples Therapy on Vh1 and the Season 1 finale of My Life is a Lifetime Movie on Lifetime, both at 10 PM. Also at 10 PM is the Season 4 premiere of Hot in Cleveland, followed by the Season 2 fall premiere of Happily Divorced at 10:30 PM, both on TV Land. Finally, the series premiere of Love You, Mean It with Whitney Cummings is on tonight at 10:30 PM on E!
