A high-stakes, dramatic and violent show set in New Jersey ends its season tonight -- and no, it's not The Real Housewives.

Tonight is the Season 3 finale of Boardwalk Empire. This season's slogan was "you can't be half a gangster," which is a little rude considering there's a character with half a face. No matter how the finale goes, it has to be disappointing compared to last year, unless Nucky just goes on a crazy killing spree. That's not likely to happen, unless he takes some cues from cable competition like The Walking Dead. But don't worry; just relax and stare deep into those Buscemi eyes and everything will make sense.

The Season 3 finale of Boardwalk Empire is on tonight at 9 PM on HBO, opposite the Season 3 fall finale of The Walking Dead on AMC. Later tonight are the series premiere of Miss You Much on VH1 and the series premiere of Be the Boss on A&E, both at 10 PM. Also on at 10 PM are the Season 2 premiere of Shahs of Sunset on Bravo and the one-hour special My Three Wives on AMC. Ending the night is the Season 2 fall finale of Comic Book Men at 11:30 PM on AMC.
