It's coming to a bloody end.

After seven long seasons -- some which were terrible, others that were awesome -- Dexter's eighth and final installment begins tonight with "A Beautiful Day." The premiere opens six months after LaGuerta's murder, with Dexter balancing his usual chores of being a father, brother-lover and serial killer, while Deb is having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad lifetime. If that's not the perfect time for a mysterious stranger to come to Miami Metro, I don't know what is.

Dexter airs tonight at 9 PM on Showtime, followed by the series premiere of Ray Donovan. Also of note this evening is the Season 1 finale of Breaking Amish: Brave New Mose at 10 PM.
