A Million Second Quiz isn't cool. You know what is? A Billion Second Quiz. Well, too bad, hot shot, a Billion Second Quiz would take far too long and NBC has already picked up the new, Ryan Seacrest-hosted game show Million Second Quiz, so just deal with it.

What's being boasted by the peacock network as "the biggest game show ever imagined," this program will kick off with a live broadcast from a huge hourglass in the middle of Manhattan where 12 contestants will test their knowledge and endurance to win a staggering $10 million. The twist? The competition goes on 24/7 during those titular million seconds. (That's 12 days in total).

Viewers will be able to tune in online (if only to see someone temporarily living in a giant hourglass) and then during the prime-time hour of broadcast of the Truman… er, game show.

Million Dollar Second kicks off at 8 PM ET on NBC. If you have the time, you can also check out the season finale of Mistresses over on ABC at 9 PM ET and flip over to ESPN at 10:20 PM ET on the dot for Monday Night Football.
