Give a little back over your Labor Day weekend as ABC airs the Muscular Dystrophy Association’s nationally broadcast telethon. The two-hour event will attempt to raise awareness, as well as donations to help those who suffer.

Among the stars scheduled to appear and/or perform on the telethon are Ryan Seacrest, Matthew Morrison, Florence Henderson, Lee Ann Womack, and the Backstreet Boys. MDA President and CEO Steven M. Derks said in a statement regarding the telecast, "The MDA telethon is an American tradition, powered by celebrities, national sponsors and, most of all, generous individuals who watch and donate."

The MDA Show of Strength Telethon starts at 9 PM ET on ABC. A different kind of two-hour special will be airing over on NBC at 9 PM ET with TV's Funniest of the Funniest: A Paley Center for Media Special, an event that honors that classic comedy moments and comic stars throughout television history. Oh, who are we kidding, everyone will be watching Breaking Bad on AMC at 9 PM ET. There are only four episodes left after this one!
