This show was on Fridays, then got bumped to Wednesdays for a bit, and now it's back on Fridays again, but it's worth the DVR hassle to keep up with it. It's not quite the edgy cop show that Southland is, but it delivers some solid drama on a weekly basis, not only on the police side, but also with the complex family dynamics. You know, like if instead of having parties and drinking all the time, the Walkers from Brothers & Sisters decided to make an effort and do something productive, like take down criminals and corruption.
For Friday nights at 10 PM, you could do a lot worse than this show. It's not particularly original and it's got a lot of Law & Order similarities -- excepting that the cops and attorneys are related in this case -- but it's a solid procedural, and it's got Tom Selleck in it (ladies?).
