The New Normal just premiered and details of the new season of American Horror Story are gradually being revealed, so after tonight, well, it's officially Ryan Murphy season. Yay?
-
It's Christmas at McKinley! Expect an overload of Christmas cheer (seriously, what did Santana do that has her smiling that much?!), too many song-and-dance numbers involving tinsel for an hour of television and... Chewbacca?

Spoiler alert: No one graduates in tonight's winter finale.

Glee is back, you guys, and this week it's declaring "I Am Unicorn."

After a freshman season that spanned the better part of several centuries, Glee will finally air its first season finale tonight. As we all know, this terrible show is wonderful, and while many of you are undoubtedly looking forward to tonight's Regionals extravaganza, I am going to have to abstain. You see, this one, like the Madonna and Lady Gaga episodes, is a theme episode, and that theme is: Journey. Oh, hell no.

I have to say, I was as skeptical as the next person about Fox's plans to air this show's pilot in May and then wait until September to launch the season, but it seems their plan has worked. Everybody is pumped for new episodes of this show. Doesn't it feel weird? That an actually great, network show has people interested in it, and might have good enough ratings to survive a little while? It's still a gamble, because the show is really, really gay and musical theater-y, so who knows how the older or more conservative crowd is going to feel about it, but for right now I'm just so happy.

It's the fall finale of Glee tonight, so this sectionals thing they've been squawking about all season better be awesome enough to tide us over until this show comes back sometime in 2087, when we've all been long dead from extreme old age. Anyway! I took a quick gander at the ol' iTunes store, and it looks like there will be singing of "My Life Would Suck Without You" (overrated!), "And I am Telling You (I'm Not Going)" (played out! But Mercedes is allowed to do whatever the hell she wants as far as I am concerned!), and a rousing rendition of "Don't Rain on My Parade," by Rachel, of course (also played out, but yes!).

Get your squee pants on, it's Glee time! All over again! I've seen tonight's premiere already, and I really loved it. Probably more than I should, but who can blame me -- Glee premieres are exciting. They jump in with a self-aware opener -- including an online student petition against Schuester's rapping -- and it just gets better from there. Tanaka's gone, and there's a new football coach in town trying to take all the Cheerio and glee club money, and she's a bigger, scarier, more powerful lesbian than Sue Sylvester who talks in nonsensical barnyard metaphors like a juiced up Ross Perot. I think I'm in love with her, to be perfectly honest.

It's December, which means the Glee lovelies will be eschewing the Bruno Mars and Katy Perry covers in favor of holiday classics tonight. Namely, Christmas classics, so if you happen to celebrate a different holiday in December, or even no holidays in December, it looks like you'll be a little left out tonight. Hey, I feel your pain. I get that way every time they do a Journey song (my religion precludes me from celebrating Journey songs. It is made-up. Wanna join?)
