There's just something about Jeff Lewis and his team that I find fascinating, even when the show itself isn't all that exciting. Really, in this entire season not much happened (half an episode was devoted to Jeff's fascination with a Roomba), but we did get to see a more humble Jeff... though he's still as neurotic and obsessive as he ever was. And I was totally hooked, despite the lack of screaming fits.
Jeff Lewis and his maniacal crazy ways are back. Except he's a little less insane this time around -- but only slightly. On tonight's episode, there's a bit less screaming and a slightly more humbled Lewis who seems to have taken a big hit in this struggling economy, and turns instead to remodeling instead of flipping. Though the subdued nature doesn't last long, and he starts lecturing Zoila on how to properly reorganize cabinets and yelling at Jenny for a slip up... then it's just like good old times again. I mean, let's be honest, isn't the crazy screaming guy who can turn rough properties into gorgeous estates the reason that we all watch this show? It is for me. I'm waiting to see what truly makes his head explode.
