Heroes is back. Now with 100 percent more circus freaks and lesbianism! The main reason that I'm subjecting myself to another season, aside from the whole glutton for punishment thing I've got going on, is that Robert Knepper (aka Prison Break's phenomenally creepy T-Bag) is going to be on. That dude kept me watching Prison Break long after it stopped making any sense at all.
What a long, strange, messed-up, deadly, unpredictable, ridiculous, implausible trip it has been. It is hard to believe that Prison Break is finally signing off, but it is almost as difficult to believe that it has even lasted this long. The twists and turns that were interesting during Season 1 and 2 became more and more difficult to buy as the show went along. Even though it is only the end of the fourth season, with the amount of crap they crammed in, it has felt like so much more. It is hard to even remember a time when I actually really liked this show and wasn't just watching by rote.
Just when Terminator and Dollhouse started getting interesting, they are gone (Terminator because it had its finale, and Dollhouse is preempted this week). Instead, there is two hours of Prison Break chaos to be unleashed upon the world. I'm sort of ambivalent about this show's return. On the one hand, I used to love it, on the other hand, I kind of hate it now. But it is the last handful of episodes before the show signs off for good, so I guess I'll stick with it. I've already watched it this long and I might as well see how this ridiculous mess turns out.
