American Hustle got zilch, Gravity won almost everything else, 12 Years got the Big One, John Travolta has no idea who Idina Menzel is and Ellen really loves pizza. Good thing that took nearly four hours.

Thanks to sick burns from hosts Amy & Tina Fey, several genuinely deserving winners and at least one off-the-charts crazy speech, the 2014 Globes felt far shorter than their usual 12 years.

A handful of truly deserving and surprising winners couldn't save this interminable telecast from huge oversights, bizarre production choices and a strangely lackluster hosting turn by NPH.

With a surprisingly inoffensive Seth MacFarlane, no upsets or major surprises and one musical number after another, a neverending ceremony made hostages of audience members and viewers alike.

We'd like this show a lot more if it was told through Ian's perspective since he seems like a lot more fun. Or if they put a ticking 24-esque time clock on the screen.
