Not sure what to make of The Spirit? Join the club. It looks like a sequel to Sin City -- courtesy of director Frank Miller, who wrote and drew the original Sin City comics -- but it's only vaguely reminiscent of the comic books it's based on, which few people have read. Of course, if early reports are accurate, accuracy to the source material is the least of this film's problems.
