Indiana Jones, on the other hand, dropped 54 percent from its opening three-day weekend, when it added its name to the record books. But it's taken in more than $216 million already, just in the U.S., which is more than enough for any movie to consider itself a mega-hit.

Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman crapfest...er, creepfest The Strangers came in third for the weekend, managing $20.7 million on 2,467 screens in its opening weekend. Iron Man stayed strong on word of mouth and critical raves, finishing fourth in its fifth week in theaters, with $14 million on 3,650 screens. Iron Man's take so far domestically is more than $276 million. The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian made $13 million on 3,801 screens in its third week.

Rounding out the top 10, then, were a bunch of movies that the country seems to have forgotten (or nearly):
6. What Happens in Vegas, $6.9 million
7. Baby Mama, $2.2 million
8. Speed Racer, $2.1 million
9. Made of Honor, $2 million
10. Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay, $1 million

The question for next weekend is whether Kung Fu Panda will not only beat You Don't Mess With the Zohan, but if they'll both be able to surpass Carrie and Indy to take the top spots.
