Christian Bale Says No to Boy Blunder If you've been hearing the rumors about including Robin in the next Batman sequel, it might put your mind at ease to know that Christian Bale has come out against the idea. Firmly against. Starpulse quotes him as saying he'd be chaining himself up and "refusing to go to work" if Dick Grayson bounded his way into the script.

It's hard to blame the guy for feeling that way; thus far, Robin's live-action incarnations have taken up residence at the camp end of the spectrum, while Christopher Nolan's vision in the new films is situated more at the realistic end. It's hard to imagine a situation where Robin wouldn't be a disastrous addition to the movie franchise. Comic book legend and Boy Wonder advocate Jeph Loeb is more optimistic. He told MTV News that it could work if they were to "[t]ake the time to tell the story properly."

He also says, "I wouldn't let him become Robin until the third act, if that." He recognizes the past problems of trying to get Dick into the costume too quickly. Says Loeb of his Dark Victory comic book series: "[H]e doesn't put the costume on until the last chapter of that book." Keeping him out of the red and green would certainly reduce the potential for inadvertent camp, but would it matter? Even if Nolan did everything right, even if he found a way to get Dick Grayson into the movie that made sense and enriched the story and didn't lead to endless jokes, it would be a huge uphill battle to convince moviegoers to give it a chance. The Burt Ward and Chris O'Donnell versions burned certain images into people's retinas that are hard to see around. It probably isn't a battle worth showing up for, let alone one worth fighting.

Might not be a very heroic viewpoint, but it's a pretty realistic one.

Outstanding motion picture, there ended up being some pre-teens behind us within your theatre and they all hated it repeatedly expressing how confused they have been. That built me laugh as I enjoyed this enjoyable and fast-paced romp. Once you went in without expectations plus a semblance of an intellect, you perhaps ended up being thrilled and nevertheless challenged to keep pace using the events. Once you arrived in expecting a bubble-gum actions pic, you obtained disapointed and I am glad you did, wait around for the next Transformers movie. This movie flick needed patience and believed to comply with so if you hated it you in all probability really don't posess many qualites. I considered it was an inventive and perfectly resolved plot, Yes, the ending leaves you guessing if it too was a fantasy, but that is what the Director wanted to accomplish. A minimum of respect Nolan acquired a vision for his presentation. I locate it intriguing that in your last level while using partial repeated opening scene that Saito was rather outdated. This indicates he lived a lengthy time in the wish, trapped for decades and waiting for Cobb to obtain him. And when he was asking Cobb if he was going to kill him he was definitely expressing are you currently planning to rescue me now? I locate that revelation to generally be chilling and really effective. This a person is properly worth repeated viewings and I'm planning to become waiting to the blu-ray with fantastic anticipation!
