I was lucky enough to have seen the Broadway show with its original cast (thus began my decade long crush on Taye Diggs) but I was 18 at the time and from a small town in the upper Midwest. Suffice it to say I didn't really get it. Kudos to the organizers for making this show available to people across the country who might not have otherwise had the chance to see it in its original form. Seeing as how tickets to see the performance live are going for upwards of a $1,000, ten bucks at your local Cineplex is a bargain for the experience. Hopefully those screens can do it justice. Worst case scenario, the most it does is convince a swath of the country that they should really go out and get a job.
