Direct from the press release: "TERMINATOR®: THE COASTER will feature a loading station 'fly-thru,' a state-of-the-art sight and sound package, and unique queue line and on-board entertainment elements. The GCII-designed Millennium Flyer coaster trains will zip through five belly-flopping hills and six high-speed banked turns over 2,850 feet of track to create a ride that delivers the acrobatic thrills of a modern roller coaster while retaining the nostalgic look and feel of a classic 'woodie.'" And making a ride based on a movie about robots from the future resemble an old-fashioned wooden roller coaster will, what, give riders the peace of mind that the coaster can't be infiltrated by Skynet? And let's hope the "unique queue line and on-board entertainment elements" don't involve the CGI rendering of mushroom clouds in the surrounding hillsides.

Being both a fan of the Terminator movies and roller coasters in general, I'll do my best to reserve judgment, but it's my fervent hope that they also take a page from the Transformers book and have robots fighting all around the coaster cars. Then again, I'd be afraid that the Terminator lasers might catch the whole damn wooden thing on fire. Oh well. I'm sure they've thought this through.
