Pics and Clips: Sherlock Holmes, Twilight, Punisher: War Zone, The Argentine and Guerrilla

A multitude of new video clips, trailers, set photos and posters have leaked out over the weekend for various upcoming films, and this is your one stop to find it all.

Downey & Law, Crimefighters: First up, JustJared published photos on Friday of Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes from Guy Ritchie's upcoming action film. He added photos on Sunday of Jude Law as Watson. They both look as dashing as you might imagine, all scruffy and in their period garb.

Permanent Twilight: Tweens and teens around the country let out a collective squeal when the new trailer for teen vampire flick Twilight premiered late last week. You can watch it on the movie's MySpage page (or pretty much anywhere else on the Internet, actually). They also unveiled their latest poster and soundtrack, and I just have one request for the Twilight publicity mill: Stop acting like a new poster is some sort of breaking news. It's not. A poster should not be news event, and should not create this much buzz. Why must you (and the teens and tweens) do this to us? And, finally, how many posters that look exactly the same does one movie need?

Get in the Zone: Then there was the new clip -- introduced by the director -- from Punisher War Zone, released on the movie's official site. I didn't watch the first Punisher and don't read the comics, but I have to say that this looks pretty awesome -- if you're into action and all that (which, if you like The Punisher, I'm guessing you are). It was dark and violent and made me want to rush right out and watch the first movie, so I'll be all caught up when this is released. [That's... not necessary, DeAnn. Unless you really like John Travolta. - Zach] I'm not kidding: If you don't want to want to like this, don't watch.

Che Anything: Finally, we got some movie posters for the Soderbergh-Del Toro (Benicio, not Guillermo) Che flicks, The Argentine and Guerrilla. This poster had been released previously. I still can't find an official release date for these films (the official site is here, it seems), but the buzz still says 2008. We'll see if that happens. They've definitely been in the works long enough, at this point, that there shouldn't be too much more hold-up. (Although, I'm not even clear if they're being released at the same time or staggered, so I might not be the person to provide details about when or if these films will happen this year.) Still... enjoy the posters!
