It would be a fittingly ironic end for the legendary Lothario of Star Fleet, but no doubt he survives the encounter, since he later grows up to be William Shatner at some point in the Trekiverse. But seriously, that things look like it went for a Brazilian wax before meeting up for its hot date with Kirk, which doesn't seem terribly wise, considering the apparently snowy environs. After all, there's a reason why it's called a Brazilian wax, and not a Norwegian wax. Take a cue from that alien in Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country who started out as Iman, but turned into a big hairy Yeti-man: Nature's fur coat comes in handy when the mercury drops.
