The Writer's Guild of America just announced their screenplay nominations, in three categories (best original, best adapted and best documentary). With Burn After Reading, Milk, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button among them. You can check out a full list of the noms here.

And how about those People's Choice Awards? It's probably no surprise that The Dark Knight swept in every category it was nominated in, including the people's favorite cast, superhero, action movie, and on-screen match-up (for Christian Bale and Heath Ledger). Other winners included WALL-E for best family movie, The Secret Life of Bees for best independent movie, and 27 Dresses for best comedy. (See what I mean about the participation ribbon?)

What other accolades are out there for the Hollywood participants? Well, there is the BAFTA foreign film short list, for the subtitled set, oh, and also the BAFTA Rising Star nominees, which include up-and-comers like Michael Cera and Rebecca Hall. Also announced yesterday were the nominees for the Image Awards, where this year the NAACP will celebrate its 100th anniversary. You can check out that nominee list here.

There's also the ASC nominations and CAS nominations, where all those guys and gals with the title abbreviations after their names in movie credits (cinematographers and sound guys, respectively) honor their own. And folks, there are, somehow, more nominations and awards, but I'm going to let you check those all out on your own There're not done rolling in yet.
