Serkis, of course, provided all of Gollum's movements in the Lord of the Rings trilogy by way of a motion capture suit and a myriad of cameras.

Spielberg and producer Peter Jackson are aiming for a 2010 release, but are still looking for a young actor to play the young reporter of the title, as well as his whiskey-loving fox terrier, Snowy. Since it's all motion-capture anyway, if they get in a pinch, perhaps they could tap Pegg and Frost for double duty...
