Zach Galifianakis has been everywhere promoting The Hangover this week, and with upcoming roles in a prominent HBO hipster series (that actually looks good), the already confirmed Hangover 2 and seemingly endless casting announcements popping up about him every day, it seems he's on the precipice of mainstream comedy fame. And for good reason. Aside from Louis CK, he's probably the best stand-up comedian working today, and in honor of Hangover Friday, I thought I'd do a little round-up of some of his most popular work for those out there who may not know much of his stuff yet. Get to know Mr. Zatch Gaspafanasky (as comedy club announcers frequently used to refer to him) before he makes soda come out your nose at the movies this weekend. (And for all you pre-existing Zach fans reading this, enjoy the memory lane strollin' after the jump!) Headphones are recommended, though -- these contain language of an adult, albeit ridiculously immature, nature. Piano inappropriateness:
And you should know that he feels physical comedy is beneath him:
He is also an Absolut Vodka spokesmodel from time to time:
He is an avid Kanye (and Will Oldham... and tractor) fan:
He likes to make celebrities uncomfortable on his interview series "Between Two Ferns." There are four or five of these, but the Michael Cera one is the most uncomfortable, and therefore best:
And you simply must meet his twin brother Seth:
Love for Zach? Any other people who store Absolut Vodka in their bouffant wigs? Leave the confessions in the comments.

For me, he's Davis from Tru Calling (yeah, yeah, I know not everybody likes Dushku as much as me) - a fairly sympathetic portrayal of nerdiness.
He's also got a lead role in an indie comedy called Visioneers. Fans can learn how to host their own screening at the film's website Visioneers
his role in "out cold" never gets any love, but he was really the best part of that quirky movie.
Typical hipster flavor of the month target. No one will know who he is by this time next year. Let see... Unnecessary beard? Check! Comedies contain other stars so unfunny that they make him look like a star? Check! Probably washes every other week? Check! Gets mistaken for Seth Rogen? Check!
Gets the parts that Eugene Levy would have gotten 20 years ago? Check!! Is in movie with (insert favorite obtuse indie band name) song? CHECK!!
LOL @ the Kanye vid.. Will Oldham rules
I've been a Zach fan for YEARS, and I love that he's getting the attention he deserves.
One of my favorite things that he did was his character Alan Finger on the short-lived comedy series "Dog Bites Man". Anyway, more power to him.
Zach Galifianakis is a comedian for people who don't find humor to be a necessary component of comedy.
Yeah, I will always think of him as Davis too. He was definately the best - possibly only good thing- about that show. Except Jason Priestley, who was also awesome.
He's also in a random Fiona Apple video that's hilarious!
