BLOGS
Depending on how you feel about security guards, Lyme disease, Matthew McConaughey, claymation, Avatar and the French, this is either a very good week for DVDs or the worst week ever.
Observe & Report
If you only see one security guard movie this year. please, please, please do not let it be Paul Blart: Mall Cop. It should really be this one. Of course, if you want to see two security guard movies this year, then watch this one first, then we don't really care what you do with the rest of your free time. It's the Taxi Driver of mall cop movies: funny, bloody and a little bit sad.
Lymelife
Alec Baldwin, Timothy Hutton, Cynthia Nixon and two -- two! -- Culkin brothers star in this movie about a boy coming of age on Long Island. It's like The Ice Storm, but with no ice, only one cheating couple and an overwhelming fear of Lyme disease.
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Really, Jennifer Garner? Really? We expect this sort of thing from Matthew McConaughey, but you -- okay, we expect it from you, too.
Wallace & Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death
Uh, why did nobody tell me there was a new Wallace and Gromit short? Was this a secret? A dirty British secret?
Pierrot le Fou (Criterion Edition)
If I were to spoil the ending of this movie for you, you would call me a liar. It's that ridiculous.
Battle for Terra
Nobody tell James Cameron about this movie.

i hope the rest of simon and simon comes out soon
Observe & Report deserves to become a cult classic on DVD. One of the most underrated movies of the year.
Hey, I didn't know about the new Wallace and Grommit either! I love those guys.
JenG will redeem herself soon enough (like this weekend); YOU- not so much...
I'm waiting for the BJ and the Bear complete Blu Ray box set.
dBhAQj I want to say - thank you for this!
