BLOGS
So the new movie The Box kicks off with the premise that a cash-strapped couple can get a million bucks... so long as they are willing to sacrifice a total stranger. Not a bad idea, but what if they asked some really important questions... you know, about TV and movies and things that really matter in the world. We put together a list of pop culture queries to test what you'd be willing to endure for a new Star Wars film, a Firefly reunion or all the answers to Lost. See our list here, then let us know what you would do.
Editor's Note: The Heath Ledger question in this feature originally referenced the actor's untimely passing in a manner that many readers interpreted as offensive, which is reflected in some of the comments below. In response, the question has since been changed to offend only Joel Schumacher.

Firefly: No
Star Wars: Absolutely not
PD/Glee: Yes
Schumacher: Yes
AI: Hell to the no.
Star Trek: Although it would be awesome if it did win, I'd rather have more Star Trek movies.
GA/PP: No
Terminator: After T:S, sure.
Lost: no.
Indiana Jones: Harrison Ford is Indiana Jones. No dice.
Chuck: Yes.
Heath Ledger: Really? This is a question?
Incredibles: I love Pixar movies too much to not have new Pixar movies. No.
Heroes: No. It's been bad too long for it to go on.
The only one that would truly give me trouble is the Pushing Daisies/Glee one. I...I think I'd have to say yes. It would hurt at first, but then it would be totally worth it.
Same here MaggiSaar.... I wasn't really caring much about the others till that one came up... that's a toughie.
Pushing Daisies vs. Glee??? Hmm...I think maybe yes, because the pluses definitely out-way the minuses.
Firefly: Yes
Star Wars: No
PD/Glee: Hell No
Batman: No
AI: NO
Star Trek: No
GA/PP: No
Terminator: Yes, please
Lost: no.
Indiana Jones: NO
Chuck: Don't care
Heath Ledger: Really? This is a question?
Incredibles: No.
Heroes: Sylar is the only redeeming thing about Heros now.
Dollhouse, Glee, and Heroes can all be canceled. No hesitation on any of those all of them aren't nearly as good as shows that were canceled. Such as Firefly, Pushing Daisies, Southland.
Oh and yes to the Chuck. If they got together it would ruin the show. If you want characters hooking up go watch a soap opera this is Chuck......
Dollhouse: No
Star Wars: No
Pushing Daisies: No
Batman: No
American Idol: No
Star Trek: Yes
Grey's: Yes
Terminator: No
Lost: no
Indiana Jones: no
Chuck: No
Heath Ledger: yes
Incredibles: No
Sylar: As long as I didn't have to watch those 8 seasons.
Firefly: No, Firefly was 100000% better.
Star Wars: No
PD/Glee: YES, please.
Batman: No.
AI: n/a
Star Trek: Yes.
GA/PP: No.
Terminator: Yes, yes, YES. Also, TSCC back.
Lost: n/a
Indiana Jones: Nooo!
Chuck: Does it really make a difference to the show? I thought they're going to drag it on forever, which is fine if the show's entertaining. And they get together in the last episode, of course.
Heath Ledger: n/a
Incredibles: No. Incredibles is way overrated.
Heroes: Yes, please.
Dollhouse/Firefly: Probably not. Seven years is just too long. We all saw what happened to Buffy.
Star Wars: Nope. Mostly for not caring anymore.
Pushing Daisies/Glee: Yes, but that's not a sacrifice to me.
Batman: No.
American Idol: Absolutely not.
Star Trek: No. The Oscars are a crock anyway.
Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice: Oh god, no.
Terminator: If it was being made by the right people.
Lost: Under no circumstances! All the fun is NOT knowing what's going to happen.
Indiana Jones: Hell, no.
Chuck: Yes. So many shows are destroyed when the couple finally happens.
Heath Ledger: TOO SOON.
Incredibles: No. Sequels bite. (Except Toy Story 2, but I'd still rather have a new Pixar movie.)
Heroes: Doesn't matter, I wouldn't watch it either way.
Firefly: No.
Star Wars: No.
Pushing Daisies/Glee: Yes, though it would hurt for a while. Pushing Daisies is the better show for sure.
Batman: No.
AI: No.
Star Trek: No.
Grey's Anatomy: No.
Terminator: No.
Lost: No. I don't mind waiting.
Indiana Jones: No.
Chuck: Yes.
Heath Ledger: ...No.
The Incredibles: Yes.
Heroes: No. That show needs to die.
Dollhouse/Firefly: God no.
Star Wars: Leave it alone!! So, no.
PD/Glee: Yes, yes, yes!
Batman: I never knew Joel Schumacher was a costume designer. I blame everyone who worked on that movie for the costumes. No one thought to say anything? No one? At all?
AI: I don't watch this show.
Star Trek: Best Picture? I loved the movie, but Best Picture? Sequels please.
GA/PP: Don't watch either show.
Terminator: Hmm, nah. I would like SCC back though.
Lost: Don't watch the show.
Indiana Jones: Stop making IJ movies, please, kthxbye.
Chuck: I'm not really invested in the whole Chuck/Sarah thing, so, sure.
Dark Knight: What the hell kind of question is this?!
Incredibles: NO!
Heroes: Don't watch the show.
I would only comment on the Heath Ledger one. Of course YES! is a human life against a picture. I think that is a no brainer what should exist of both and is quite a disturbing choice as well.
I would have to answer "no" to the Heath Ledger question. Yes, I'm probably going to hell, but the Dark Knight is so good.
Oh gosh. I love Glee, but I miss Pushing Daisies SO DAMN MUCH!!
Also, I would have said that anything would be worth never having to see Izzie ever again, but watching every single episode of Private Practice?? I don't know!!
I really think it was in the worst taste to ask that about Heath Ledger. He wasn't just a brilliant actor - he was a lovely young man. Dark Knight was certainly a great film, but seriously wtf? Why would you slip that in there?
How can you ask that about Heath Ledger? Really??????
Dollhouse: They did exhaust the idea throughly in the first season of Dollhouse. Can the question be, there will be a different second half of the first season, the show will go on for seven seasons and the first season finale will be a movie (Battlestar Galactica style), but there will be no FF reunion? Now, THAT is a pickle.
Star Trek: No!!! Awards should never be more important than exploring the idea throughly. then eeverything will follow the recipe of the Academy. There would be nothing orijinal or new.
Grey's Anatomy: Noooo. PP sucks so much more ass than does Izzy
Terminator: Sure.
Lost: Honestly don't care for the show. I may find a way to make peace with all the answers the show failed to deliver, and all the plot lines it chose to ignore. But I just cannot get over an entire season of sandwich episodes where instead of moving on with the plot, we learn more about the characters, which in advertantly lead to the show focusing on only a few characters, making it a predictable dramedy instead of a suspence. So, no.
Indiana Jones: Then it wouldn't be an Indiana Jones movie, now would it?
Chuck: No. Those nerds need to get a life. Or a different job.
Heath Ledger: I honestly don't know. And guys, this is fantasy. Wishful thinking cannot raise the dead. And you didn't know this guy personally. So the question is: Would you like to see HL in more roles, but in a universe where there is no DK? I think I may be inclined to say no. Especially considering that Sean Penn was offered the role.
Incredibles: Heeeell no! That would mean no WALL-E. Then what would be my go-to movie?
Heroes: No. The makers of that show listen to E channel wayyy too much, making plot decisions based on what is hot rather than what is awesome. If that was the way to go, Hurley would have been killed in the first season instead of Ian Somerhalder. Heroes is THE example for pissing away potential.
The firefly one is the one where I would be pressing a 'hell no!'
I still can't watch the last episode of Firefly without bawling my eyes at the absolute tragedy of the shows cancellation.
BTW.. if I ever won the lottery, I would be writing a 10million dollar cheque for Joss Whedon to help finance the next Firefly movie... yes, thats how much I want a new movie!
Firefly: Yes.
Star Wars: Nope
PD/Glee: Don't care
Schumacher: Don't care
AI: Don't care
Star Trek: Don't careGA/PP: No
Terminator: Yes
Lost: no
Indiana Jones: nope
Chuck: DOn't care
Heath Ledger: Wrong on so many levels.
Incredibles: no
Heroes: ugh, bad show either way.
Whedon: Ambivalent.
Star Wars: No. The movies are done, read the books if you're that interested.
Pushing Daisies/Glee: One of the few real dilemmas for me. I think I'd have to say no, though. I do love Glee and I've (mostly) made my peace about PD.
Batman: No.
AI: I don't watch any more, but no. Remove Simon, no one will watch it any more.
Star Trek: I'd have to say no. As much as I'd like an award, I feel like appreciation from the fans is worth more. More movies!
Grey's: No. Mostly because I don't watch Grey's any more, so I don't care, and PP is worse.
Terminator: Ambivalent.
Lost: No. I'd rather speculate and read FF on theories.
Indiana Jones: NO! Harrison Ford is too awesome to ban from movies forever. He's old, yeah, but still good.
Chuck: Another true dilemma. But I think I'd say no because I trust the producers to know how to make it good. If that makes it run shorter because the public is stupid, so be it.
Heath: ...no. Who wrote that question?
Incredibles: I'd have to say no again. Pixar is goodness. We don't need sequels to every damn thing.
Heroes: I think I'd actually say yes. Maybe it'd be better then and I could stand to watch it. And ZQ could focus on being Spock. Everyone wins!
No on everything except for the Heath Ledger one.
Seriously, who at TWOP thought that question was a good idea??
Okay, I've got the list on another window so I get do this point by point.
Dollhouse: No, it's not that great.
Star Wars: Hell to the no.
Pushing Daisies: I would not be pushing fast enough.
Batman: No. Dark Knight was good enough to be the last one.
AI: I don't watch, but probably.
Star Trek: No. I'd rather have sequels. That movie was great.
Grey: Where's the button that cancels them both?
Terminator: Don't know don't care.
Lost: No.
Indiana Jones: Don't know don't care.
Chuck: DKDC
Heath: Jesus Christ this is a question? You measure a human life against a MOVIE? The fact that someone asked that question is nothing compared to the fact that someone said no.
Incredibles: No, sequels are overrated.
Heroes: No. Sylar was an interesting character. He can win the ballgame if the show is cancelled.
You're seriously comparing a HUMAN LIFE to a movie??? Classless.
Heath Ledger had a little girl.
Regarding the Heath Ledger question, let's all take a deep cleansing breath and calm down. If you can look past the questionable taste, you might find it as an interesting thought.
Here's the deal: You give a gifted actor his life back, but at the cost of the role that allowed most of the world to see how talented he was. (What was the last movie with Heath Ledger you saw--in a theater, since BO figures make or break a leading actor's career--before The Dark Knight? I have to go way back to Monster's Ball.) You give him his life back, but at the cost of may have well been his greatest role in what may have well been the most popular movie he ever appears in. (As well as a movie that, to me at least, was much more than just another Hollywood blockbuster and one that will stand the test of time.)
I answered no, but I had to think about it for a few beats.
It's just a freakin' thought experiement, folks. If you have the button, that's one thing, but none of us do.
I'm also having a bit of trouble understanding the attachment to Harrison Ford. Should there have not been anymore Bond movies after Connery? (The following ones didn't ALL suck, did they?)
My answer to all except the Indiana Jones one is "no" (although that panel on American Idol would have been fun in a train wreak kind of way.)
One last thing. What button to I push to keep "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" from being made?
The Heath Ledger question is in such poor taste, I can't even believe that TWOP went there. A life vs. a movie? Is that even a question for any movie?
Geez, this is embarassing. I was so used to answering "no" that I forgot how the question was phrased.
Above post should read, "I answered "yes", but I had to think about it for a few beats." and, "My answer to all except the Indiana Jones and Heath Ledger ones are 'no'".
Sorry about that.
Dollhouse: No, it's not that great.
Star Wars: Hell to the no.
Pushing Daisies: Glee is better
Heroes: DKDC
To Steve C - um, hello? Brokeback Mountain anyone??
And while I appreciate that it may have been meant as a thought-provoking question, it comes across as cruel, heartless and tacky. IMHO.
The Heath Ledger question is absolutely offensive.
And get over the Izzie hate, seriously, it's BORING.
The Heath Ledger question is absolutely offensive.
And get over the Izzie hate, seriously, it's BORING.
@ cydeleida--Yeah, I know. I'm just saying I didn't go see it and I'm wondering who all here did. (On the other hand, if it did well enough for Randy Quaid to sue over....)
The Heath Ledger question: really? What the hell is wrong this site lately? How could you even think that such a question would be appropriate?
Firefly: No.
Star Wars: No.
PD/Glee: Yes.
Schumacher: No.
AI:
Star Trek: No.
GA/PP: No.
Terminator: No.
Lost: No.
Indiana Jones: No.
Chuck: No.
Heath Ledger:
Incredibles: No.
Heroes: No.
Sorry about leaving my name off above post. Still a newbe.
Well this was easy.
No to all but the Heath Ledger question.
I don't actually think the Heath Ledger question is as offensive as it seems here, if that makes sense. It's just that surrounding a question like that with questions about the American Idol judging panel makes it seem particularly crass.
Dollhouse/Firefly: Hell no! I watch Dollhouse, but I SERIOUSLY love and miss Firefly so much...still!
Star Wars: NO! Prior to the suckage that was Episodes 1/2/3, I would have said yes, but since they were made and were so terrible I don't think I could sit through any more SW movies.
Pushing Daisies/Glee: Yes. This was the hardest choice, but my PD love knows no bounds.
Schumacher: Aren't they already making a new Batman movie?
American Idol: No! Simon is the main reason why I watch the show.
Star Trek: No. Star Trek was amazing-bring on the sequels!
Grey's/PP: I watch, and enjoy PP, but I don't hate Izzie, so my answer would be no.
Terminator: No. I'm not really into 3D movies, and I'm not a big CGI fan either.
LOST: Hell no! I'm trying to go spoiler free-ish for the final season!
Indiana Jones: Yes! Harrison is great in the role, but he's getting a little old. It could go through a successful reboot like Bond with a new actor in the role.
Chuck: Don't watch it, but I always root for the couples who are destined to be together. I would say no, and hope they get together this year!
The Incredibles: No. This is one of my fave movies-but EVERYTHING Pixar does is genius(except for Cars which I loathe)and I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
Heroes: I would kill Sylar off and cancel the show!
Ben - Yes, I think you might be right about going to hell. Shameful.
Big yes on Firefly.
As much as I loved Pushing Daisies, I have to go with Glee.
While Dark Knight is one of my favorite movies ever, a human life is more important than a movie.
I don'w want to know the end of Lost until I see every episode before hand.
Can't we just cancel Greys, Private Practice, and Heroes all together?
And while Star Trek was fun, it is not best picture material, especially when Inglourious Bastards is out there.
Absolutely none of the petty excuses for the Heath Ledger question strike a sincere chord. It was tasteless and classless, and Sars would never have put up with that sort of nonsense back in the day.
I realize what you were going for with this, but the Heath Ledger question was completely uncalled for and frankly, somewhat disgusting. Asking people to chose a human being's life over the existence of a movie? Ridiculous.
Even looking at this from the standpoint that this is a silly blog post with questions that would never be seriously posed, it wouldn't even make sense as there'd just be many other movies as a replacement.
Angel, you used to be one of my favorites here. Now I really, really need for you to take a hiatus. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Firefly: NO. DH is ok but Firefly was a much better show and ED is not a great actress.
Star Wars: NO. I didn't even watch the third movie because the first two were so disappointing. Now I just stick my fingers in my ears and pretend they never happened. Sweet, sweet denial.
PD/Glee: Pushing Daisies FTW! Glee's musical numbers are great but the writing for PD was better.
Batman: No way. I don't want Schumacher anywhere near the Dark Knight franchise, he's a damned philistine.
AI: Don't care, never watched the show
Trek: Sequels
Grey's: That's tough, would I have to pay attention to PP?
Terminator: If I said yes, could I have T:SCC back?
Lost: Maybe, it might be worth it to be able to taunt my friends with the ending.
Indiana Jones: I didn't love the last movie so I wouldn't trade Ford for a new one.
Chick: yes
Heat Ledger: Dude.
Pixar: Nah. I liked Incredibles but I'm just as happy when they do new things.
Heroes: Yes. Just so long as he was really, most sincerely dead - not comic book dead.
This website is nothing like it used to be.
Dollhouse: Yes. I've never seen Firefly, and although others speak highly of it, I'd rather keep the show I know at the minute
Star Wars: Yes. I love SW, ewoks and all.
Pushing Daisies: No. I liked it at the time, but I think it finished in a good place. Plus I hear great things about Glee.
Batman- Yes, probably.
AI: Never seen it, but it's only good sense to keep Simon IMO.
Star Trek: No, awards aren't that important.
Grey's Anatomy: No, because I'm one of those people who likes Izzie. Plus, Private Practice isn't that bad.
Terminator: No thanks. I don't think CGI would be the way to go for it.
Lost: Depends on what else you'd hear. If it was just the end/last ep then no. I'd like to find it all out for myself on the night.
Indiana Jones: Harrison Ford was my favourite childhood actor, so no. Never.
Chuck: In a heartbeat. Chuck/Sarah isn't what makes the show for me.
Heath Ledger: Of course.
Incredibles: Never, I love Pixar too much.
Sylar: Nope. I still like Sylar.
Firefly: No, I love Firefly more then I love Dollhouse.
Star Wars: Definitely Not.
PD/Glee: No, as much as I loved Pushing Daisies it ended on a high note and I don't want it to be ruined. Plus I am obsessed with Glee and I love the music and the characters.
Schumacher: Sure, the costumes I can ignore.
AI: Simon is the only good thing about the show so definitely not.
Star Trek: No, I'd rather get more sequels then watch it get some award that isn't that important.
GA/PP: Yes, but only so that I don't have to listen to Katharine Heigel whine anymore. If she doesn't like her job I'll take it.
Terminator: I guess, not a huge terminator fan.
Lost: Indifferent.
Indiana Jones: Not happening. Without Harrison Ford there is no Indiana Jones.
Chuck: Yes, the show is awesome!
Heath Ledger: Is anyone seriously going to say no to this?
Incredibles: No, because the Incredibles was awesome and I liked the ending no reason to give up all the other awesome future Pixar movies for another one.
Heroes: I haven't been able to watch since Season 2 Episode 8 so I don't really care.
Firefly: I don't care.
Star Wars: No.
PD/Glee: Yes
AI: No.
Star Trek: No.
GA/PP: Yes.
Terminator: No.
Lost: I don't care.
Indiana Jones: I don't care.
Chuck: I don't care.
Heath Ledger: No. I really liked Dark Knight
Incredibles: No.
Heroes: I don't care.
The only questions worth debating are also the ones impossible to answer:
Pushing Daisies or Glee ?
Izzy or Private Practice ?
The others are either jokes (HL anyone?) or completely insignificant.
I don't even know why I bother, but apart from the obvious idiocracy and tastelessness of the Health Ledger question, there's also the fact that if he had lived on, he would have made tons of movies, many of them equal or superior to the Dark Knight. So yes, tasteless and stupid, shows how rare the likes of Jacob Clifton are even on this site.
Firefly: No, Despite that really liked the show at the end of season 1, Epithet One pretty much gave me so much closure that I decided not to watch anymore.
Star Wars: Don't care. Never really watched the first movies, had to play Lego Star Wars to know important plot details.
PD/Glee: Yes, I like Glee well enough but there is enough annoy plot lines, I wouldn't bat a eye lash to get more great Emerson quotes.
Schumacher: Don't really care
AI: Don't really care
Star Trek: I much rather have more movies, a mini series or just more of this new Trek
Terminator: Don't really care, kind of done with that universe now.
Lost: Don't really care, but I'd imagine no I would not.
Indiana Jones: Once being that I only really watched the latest one, I'd rather have Harrison Ford then more of them.
Chuck: No, I find UST to be a cheap trick for writers who don't have the talent to write relationships as healthy and fun.
Heath Ledger: With everyone else on the WTFness of this question.
Incredibles: No, I need good kid friendly movies so it' not so bad when I have to go to them.
Heroes: Yes as long as I don't have to watch it.
Sherri, you do know you are choosing a ninety-minute movie over one of the things we hold most dear?
That Heath Ledger question is in extremely poor taste.
Another WTF about Heath Ledger. He was a talented actor in a variety of films (think about how different Knight's Tale, 10 Things I Hate About You, Brokeback Mountain are) and would have gone on to make many more -- besides the fact that he was a young man with a young child.
The Dark Knight would have been good regardless, maybe just a little less good.
I agree with the other sentiments that the Heath Ledger question is beyond tacky. I know we all like to take pop culture a bit too seriously, but including that scenario, even in jest, is disgusting. Even as a joke, equating a human life with a movie is in such poor taste. Edit out that part of the article, already. The rest of it was kinda humorous and interesting, but the Heath Ledger bit ruined it for me.
DH vs. FF: No. If I could, I’d move some of the DH actors to Firefly.
SW: Maybe, but probably not.
PD vs. Glee: No!!!! I hate Chuck so much. If CHuck died, I might push the button. Or move the PD gang (minus Chuck) to Lima OH. Imagine Ned the Home Ec. Teacher!
BM vs. JS: Don’t Care
AI: No, just no. I don’t watch Idol, but that sounds horrible.
ST: No, bring on the sequels and TV series. I need more Star Trek.
GA & PP: No. If it had been Meredith ala the early seasons, I would have pushed.
Terminator: No.
Lost: No. I don’t care, they're going to mess it up anyways.
IndyJones: No, I like Harrison Ford too much.
Chuck: Yes!! I hate Chuck/Sarah so much. I prefer Chuck/Lu.
HL: Yes, in a heartbeat.
Pixar: No. But I still want an Incredibles sequel, or at least a TV series.
Heroes: Yes, but only if we could kill off more than just Sylar. For me, the show still has potential.
Firefly/Dollhouse: Yes. I love 'Dollhouse' and think it has a great story to tell, one which needs time. There's no guarantee that they'll be a 'Firefly' reunion anyway.
Star Wars: Heck no!
PD/Glee: Yes
Schumacher: No.
AI: Nada.
Star Trek: Shouldn't win and I'd love sequels.
GA/PP: No.
Terminator: Nah.
Lost: No chance lance.
Indiana Jones: No way jose.
Chuck: Yes... but barely.
Heath Ledger: Of course!!!
Incredibles: 'Incredibles 2' is already on the cards but, even if it weren't, NO! Pixar constantly do compelling original stories.
Heroes: No.
No, no, no, no, no, no, don't care, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Looks like the Heath Ledger thing in the story is different than what people are talking about in this thread. Maybe TPTB changed it because of what everyone's been saying?
Maybe I'm just being ignorant, but I'm not getting the bid deal over the Heath Ledger thing. It says,
"If you could press a button to make it so that The Dark Knight had been a trilogy featuring Heath Ledger as the Joker, but the films would all have been directed by Joel Schumacher... would you?"
I don't see anything offensive about that. It's just a simple question. Nothing about him being dead or alive. Though the poster above me has a point: has the wording been changed? This is the first time I've gone through the list.
Dollhouse vs. Firefly: No
Star Wars: No
Pushing Daisies Vs. Glee: No, I've never watched Pushing Daisies but I'm too much in like with Glee right now to take that risk.
American Idol: No
Star Trek: No
Katherine Heigl: Hell no, don't care about either of those shows.
Terminator: Don't care.
Lost: Yes. (The hatch's got the internet, right? ;))
Indiana Jones: No. Come on, Harrison Ford's gotta be in it.
Chuck: MOST DEFINITELY
Batman: No
The Incredibles: No
Killing "The Sylar Tragicomedy Hour": oh my gods YES. Totally.
I guess I'm in the minority, but I didn't think Heath Ledger was that incredible in The Dark Knight. The only one of these that was a tough question for me was Pushing Daisies/Glee. I think I *would* push the button, though. I like Glee, but Pushing Daisies was special.
Looks like someone wised up and changed the Heath Ledger question. It used to say something like:
If you could push the button to bring Heath Ledger back to life, but that meant that The Dark Knight was never made, would you?
Looks like they changed the Heath Ledger one
Firefly: No
Star Wars: I don't think I ever want to see another one, period.
PD/Glee: No
AI: I don't watch either way.
Star Trek: No Oscar. I need more movies I can go see with my dad.
GA/PP: Rather die.
Terminator: No
Lost: no.
Indiana Jones: Sure. I didn't buy him in the last one anyway.
Chuck: Don't care.
Heath Ledger: Blech. No.
Incredibles: No. The Incredibles does not merit a sequel.
Heroes: Forget Sylar. It's time to kill off the show.
Yes, the Heath Ledger question has been reworded. Yes, everyone please keep reminding everyone what the original question was every time the moderators delete this expose.
The original question was:
Would you push the button to make Heath Ledger alive today in exchange for him not having been in THE DARK KNIGHT?
Again, please keep revealing the original question every time the moderators attempt to cover up this shameful attempt at humor.
Angel Cohn owes the readers and Heath's family an apology.
Although people have already noted it, it would be nice if you at least edited this post to indicate that, due to users pointing out how incredibly tacky it was to even ask if people would choose between Heath Ledger's life and the Dark Knight movie, you changed it, and some 60-odd responses of outrage aren't delusional, or huge Joel Schumacher fans.
More Firefly reunions all the way. Dollhouse has run its course.
If that's the cost, no more Star Wars movies!
I like Glee.
Simon is more valuable than an airhead.
Give me Trek sequels, please.
Who cares? Grey's and Private Practice are both bad.
I'm ok with no more Terminator movies.
I've lost interest in Lost.
No way--Harrison Ford *is* Dr. Jones.
I'd sacrifice Sarah and Chuck for a guaranteed four more years of Chuck.
I'm not going to address the Heath Ledger question because it's just gotten ridiculous.
I'd rather see more Pixar pics than another Incredibles.
Kill off Heroes, keep Sylar. Talk about a TV show past its sell-by date...
Dollhouse/Firefly: Yes
Star Wars: Not AT ALL.
PD/Glee: YES!!!! Glee sucks.
Schumacher: Yes... Batman Forever wasn't horrible, and it would have Ledger!
American Idol: HELL NO. Simon makes the show and Paula was horrible.
Star Trek: Star Trek is awesome, but it's not Oscar-worthy. No.
GA/PP: No
Terminator: No.
Lost: I'll wait. The suspense is great.
Indiana Jones: No.
Chuck: Yes.
Incredibles: No. The Incredibles wasn't great. If the movie was Finding Nemo or Wall-E, maybe.
Heroes: No. Even at his most whiney, Sylar is the best thing about the show.
Dollhouse/Firefly - Prolly not/don't care.
Star Wars - NO. No more Star Wars movies.
Pushing Daisies/Glee - No. I'm sure Pushing Daisies was delightful (will prolly rent it at some point), but let's not sacrifice Glee!
American Idol - Prolly not/Don't care.
Star Trek - No. Good, not Oscar-worthy.
Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice - No. Never watched either, don't want to force myself to now.
Terminator - Maybe. I don't particularly care.
Lost - Prolly not/Don't care. Never got hooked on Lost.
Indiana Jones - No. I don't want anymore.
Chuck - I'd say Yes only if saying No meant that Chuck could not be renewed otherwise. I'd rather there were four seasons and Chuck and Sarah did get together, but if it was Chuck and Sarah versus More Chuck... More Chuck wins outright.
The Dark Knight/Batman - Very possibly.
The Incredibles/Pixar - NO. NO. NO. Love The Incredibles and all, but Pixar better never stop making awesome movies. EVER.
Heroes - No. Sylar is one of the few decent parts and I'd rather the show die.
I'm only answering the ones where I have strong feelings one way or another. Most of these, I'm ambivalent about.
If you could press a button to allow Dollhouse to stay on the air for seven years, but that meant that there would never be another Firefly reunion... would you?
Considering the Firefly folks are scattered to the winds on other projects already making the likelyhood of a reuinion practically zero... yes
----
If you could press a button to get another three seasons of Pushing Daisies, but it meant that Glee would get cancelled... would you?
Hell to the NO. No freaking way.
----
If you could press a button to get Paula Abdul to return to American Idol, but it meant that Simon would be replaced by Ellen DeGeneres while Randy and Kara remained... would you?
No. I'll miss Paula, but not enough to give up Simon.
----
If you could press a button to guarantee Chuck four more seasons, but it meant that he and Sarah would never be together ... would you?
Absolutely. Nothing wrong with staing in UST land if it means more Chuck!
There aren't a lot of shows I WOULDN'T sacrifice for Pushing Daisies. I'd set a Guinness World Record for the speed in pushing THAT button, you better believe it!
Dollhouse/Firefly: Yes. If it were Dollhouse staying on the air vs. Firefly coming back, I'd choose Firefly in a heartbeat, but keeping open the mere possibility of a couple of reunions pales in comparism to getting to keep Dollhouse for years. Even if seven is too long.
Star Wars: Hell no. What's the point in making more Star Wars movies if they're so likely to suck? It'll just cause more pain for fans.
PD/Glee: God yes. I like Glee, but PD is a treasure.
Paula Abdul: Don't care.
Star Trek: No. I liked Star Trek and would enjoy a sequel, but it certainly doesn't deserve a Best Picture Oscar. Neither do almost all the movies that win BPOs, but still.
Izzie: No. I'd rather just not watch Grey's Anatomy or Private Practice.
Terminator: Nope. Why make another one if it'll just be a Micheal Bay-fest?
LOST: No. I don't want spoilers THAT badly.
Indy: Don't care.
Chuck: Sure. As long as Adam Baldwin stays employed.
The Dark Knight: Yes. Batman & Robin is one of my favourite so-bad-it's-good movies, AND we would get more Joker. Where's the downside?
Pixar: No. As much as I loved The Incredibles, that would only give us one more Pixar film, compared to the multiple ones they can make if I don't push the hypothetical button.
Heroes: Don't care.
Dollhouse/Firefly: I'd have to think about it for awhile, but eventually I'd say yes. A Firefly without Wash and Shepherd Book, where River has largely regained her sanity? Is a Firefly I don't want to watch. The stories have been wrapped up or hinted at. Bringing it back would mean the end of Chuck (no more Casey? Hell no! At this point, I'd take Casey over Jayne, having had more time with him), the end of V (Morena Baccarin plays a huge role in that. I can't see her wanting to come back to her role as Inara),and the end of Castle, which I don't watch but I understand a lot of people love it. There's much less ripple effect by opting for Dollhouse, and if it keeps Dichen Lachman, Enver Gjokaj, and Fran Kranz in jobs for the next seven years, I'd hit that button with the fist of an angry god.
Pushing Daisies/Glee: For only 3 more seasons, no. For more, yes.
Chuck: Yes; dear God, yes. Did anyone ever read that Chuck comic that came out between S1 and S2 where he and Sarah were married, and Sarah was at home with the baby? I cringed and shuddered.
Heroes: Hell no. If, on the other hand, you killed everyone but Sylar, I probably still wouldn't touch it.
Pushing Daisies or Glee? Is that supposed to be hard? PD all the way. I would accept every show I watch being canceled if PD was brought back.
Obviously, I have not moved on yet.
DH vs FF: I am one of the rare ones who would rather Dollhouse stay on. I got my closure with Serenity, and I would rather many more seasons of DH than an hour of FireFly. As long as those episodes of Dollhouse were guaranteed to be Belonging or Epitaph One standard, not terrible.
Star Wars: Don't care at all. The originals are all that matter. Please, no more.
PD vs Glee: Glee all the way. Sorry Pushing Daisies, but I love Glee to bits. And I still haven't seen all of season two of PD yet, so it doens't feel over.
AI: Don't care.
Star Trek: No. The Oscars are stupid, the movie wasn't actually that good (If the Dark Knight didn't win it, Star Trek shouldn't) and I'd rather a sequel.
GA/PP: YES GOD YES!
Terminator: No. The worst part of Salvation was the CGI coated Arnie. Although I actually liked it, so...
Lost: The hardest one by far. If it was watching all the episodes for next season, then living in the hatch, yes without question. If someone is just telling me the end, no way. Although is Desmond in the hatch with me? Because if so...YES! Either way, yes.
IJ: Don't care.
Chuck: I love Chuck, so if the writing remained good, sure.
DK: No. One brilliant Dark Knight is worth three shitty ones.
TI: I do want a sequel, but no.
Heroes: I don't even know what's happening on that show. I lost track after season two. So...I don't care.
Also, can we have these questions every week? They're awesome!
Where's my Arrested Development choice? It would hurt, but I would give up all other shows for that one to have continued.
Barring that
Dollhouse (Yes) - 7 years of Joss Whedon developing show is worth any reunion (even if show was better).
Pushing Daisies - without a doubt
Star Wars - who cares.
Heros??
Dollhouse/Firefly: Yes. None of the people responsible actually want a reunion. However, I wouldn't make the trade if the series came back.
Star Wars: Those movies would suck under any circumstances.
Glee: Yes. I don't watch Pushing Dasies, but I hate Glee.
American Idol: Yes, but only because it would get the show cancelled.
Star Trek: Who cares about Oscars? I want more Star Trek!
Grey's Anatomy: Don't care
Terminator: I am thoroughly convinced that James Cameron can make anything good. And remember, Avatar is in 3d and CGI, so he would get experience with the format.
Lost: If I had cell phone/internet and could spoil it for lost fans everywhere, yes.
Indiana Jones: Would suck even if Harrison Ford was in it.
Chuck: Absolutely. I love that show to the ends of the earth, and i think chuck and sarah getting together would ruin it. That should only happen in the finale.
Batman: NO. Batman and Robin sucked.
Pixar: Yes. Up was ok, toy story 3 offends me, and i loved the incredibles.
Heroes: God no. i need that hour for an extra episode of chuck!
Dollhouse: absolutely, Firefly was great but it feels resolved. Dollhouse, on the other hand...has a lot more story to tell.
Star Wars: I wouldn't watch them anyway, Jar Jar or no Jar Jar
PD/Glee: too hard! i don't know!
AI: i don't watch it so i don't care but Paula has provided some good clips for The Soup so...
Star Trek: not worth the oscar - i'd rather have more ST movies
GA/PP: i couldn't care less about either show
Terminator: sure, but i'd rather they bring back Sarah Conner Chronicles...
Lost: i'm only on the third season - no spoilers please!
Indiana Jones: sure, he was awful in the last one so why not have some fresh blood
Chuck: Yes, absolutely! them getting together is so not the most important part to me.
Batman: if the logical extension of this is that heath ledger would be alive, then yes....
Incredibles: Nah. no sequel needed.
Heroes: No. sylar is a sliver of the supervillian he used to be but he is still the only redeeming part of that show. let's hope it is laid to rest soon.
Dollhouse/Firefly - I think Firefly is overrated crap, so keep DH.
Star Wars - Oh hell no!
Pushing Daisies/Glee - Both shows are overrated, so don't care.
American Idol - I love Paula and Ellen, but the show needs Simon the most.
Star Trek - It wasn't *that* good. So I'll go the safe route and say I want sequels.
Grey's - Oh please, Izzie isn't *that* bad. I'll take her any day over having to watch PP.
Terminator - Why not?
Lost - Oh god no. Finding out the ending really is not worth that.
Indiana Jones - Why not? James Bond and Star Trek survived reboots with new actors, so it's ok without Harrison.
Chuck - Sure. I'm not a shipper, so I can live with that very easily.
Batman - Oh hell no!
Incredibles - No, I'm good.
Heroes - Can we kill him off whether or not the show ends or goes on?
Dollhouse/Firefly - No
Star Wars- No
Pushing Daisies/Glee -No
AI- NO!!
Star Trek- No, loved it, but I want sequals!!
Grey's -That's really a 6 on one hand, half dozen on the other sort of evil question
Terminator - No
Lost - hell no
Indiana Jones- Yes
Chuck- Yes
Batman- No
Incredibles- No
Heroes- Does anyone care anymore? I'm still pissed NBC kept it on and canceled Life!
Give me Firefly back and keep your hands off Glee.
I forgot everything else.
I would happily murder everyone on Dollhouse if it meant there would be more Firefly. But there will NEVER be more Firefly, so what is the point of that question?
Not to start an angry rant, but I think the original Heath Ledger question was appropriate if you're referencing a movie where the morality play was "get a million dollars but kill a stranger". It's a little more serious than "Dollhouse vs. Firefly".
In a sense, the Dark Knight question is asking if Heath Ledger's life is worth the $533 million it made. Since the highway department values a human life at roughly one million dollars, I'd say the investment, in purely practical terms, is worth it.
ST - No, Academy Awards are pointless anyway.
Indiana Jones - No, Ford movies are better than Jones movies.
Incredibles II - Yes. Totally worth it.
Heroes - A Lot more seasons and Sylar dead? Win/win.
The original Heath Ledger question is only offensive if you choose against him.
No, Firefly reunion? I'm on board.
Star Wars No, enough already!
Yes--Pushing Daisies come back! love Glee but some of the plotlines are too ridiculous! (Pushing Daisies were just surreal!)
AI--No, Simon must stay!
Star Trek No, a world without Star Trek sequels--are you insane?
No, Izzie can stay, just don't make me watch Private Practice
Terminator Why not? Terminator movies already seem all CGI
Lost No, I'd love to know the ending (Hurley's Dream??) but I'll wait
Indiana Jones Yes, a new Indy would be fine with me
Chuck--stay on the air! They can find another girl for Chuck
Heath Ledger? not sure what to say about this
Incredibles--No, a sequel would be nice but new Pixars are indispensable
Sylar no
The only ones that I questions I really care about:
DH v FF: HELLS NO to dollhouse over firefly, which, everytime I rewatch, I physically dread the 13th and last episode
PD vs Glee: No, I really loved pushing daisies but I honestly think it was not as good in the end and Glee's entertaining right now
Izzie vs. PP: No, have you seen PP? That is some awful crap
Incredibles: No, it was good, but even the best of pixar
Heroes: No, I just want this show to go away and stop taking up valuable primetime space
DH v. Firefly - Firefly all the way!
PD v. Glee - PD all the way!
Izzie v. PP - Izzie all the way!
Heroes v. Sylar - Tough one to choose. Depends on if Zach could get a better show, then I'd be fine to watch Heroes without him.
Dark Knight - Yeah, I'd live with the director to have Heath back.
Incredibles - Another tough one, loved the movie, but I like just about all Pixar movies. Probably have to go with Pixar and no sequal (and be a bit sad).
Chuck - Stay on the air even if it meant never getting together with Sarah.
Indiana Jones - I could live with a new star (but not sure I'd want it to be Shia).
Star Trek - Who cares about the Oscars, give me more Kirk and Spock!
Star Wars - Nah, I'm good with what's out already.
Terminator - Nah, I'm good with what's out already.
Lost - I can wait.
Dollhouse: No, but only because I don't think the Firefly reunion would happen anyway.
Starwars: God no.
Pushing Daisies: God yes.
Star Trek: No, the Oscars don't mean that much and other movies deserve it more anyway.
Terminator: Sure, if it was James Cameron.
Lost: No. What's the fun of knowing the ending now?
Indiana: God no. The last one was terrible.
Incredibles: No. Besides, it wouldn't surprise me if they do make a sequel eventually.
Heroes: No, not that I watch it anymore anyway.
And everything else I don't care about.
1. No. I haven't seen either series, but I know too many Browncoats not to support Firefly.
2. Hell no. If the button would erase the recent trilogy and the cgi added to the originals, and ensure there would never be another Star Wars spin-off, ever, I'd push it.
3. Don't watch either show, but the half-episode of Glee I caught filled me with a burning hatred for half the characters, so DIE GLEE!!!
4. Can I get a button to flat-out kill American Idol? And Dancing with the Stars? Please?
5. Hell no. Sci-fi needs no mundane awards. Screw the Oscars.
6. No. Both shows can rot.
7. No chance of Christian Bale? Perfect!
8. Nope. Lost can tie up its own loose ends whenever it feels like it and I'll read the compiled synopsis somewhere eventually. I have no time to wade through years of random plot twists the writers threw in for the LOLs.
9. With Shia LeBouef on his own, yes. (Hasn't Harrison Ford already retired? He's got an island in Canada somewhere.)
10. YESYESYESYESYESYESYESYESYES!!! I prefer my tension subtle and unresolved.
11. Sure. Who's Joel Schumacher?
12. No. Gech.
13. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Sylar's the only reason I watch that crap-fest anymore.
Maybe it's just me, but these were all no-brainers.
1. No - I don't care about dollhouse and would do anything for more firefly
2. Yes
3. Aw hell no. No cancelling Glee, ever!
4. No
5. Definitely not! I know a lot of Trekkies hate the "alternate universe" stuff, but I love it!
6. No, because I don't want to watch either show.
7. Hell yeah! You say 3-D CGI Terminator like it's a bad thing?!
8. No.
9. Sure. As long as they go back to the "Young Indiana Jones" ideas.
10. Yes.
11. I wish I knew what the first question had been, but yes I would have loved to have seen Ledger as the Joker a couple more times.
12. Definitely not!
13. Are you kidding? 4 seasons without Sylar? He's about the only thing that makes the show worth watching.
DH vs FF: I love Eliza, but I'm sorry. Firefly every time.
PD vs Glee: I have to with Glee. I never watched PD.
Sylar vs Heroes: Shoot that horse. It hasn't been decent since season two.
I would trade every show mentioned for just one more season of Firefly. (But with Wash back.)
Dollhouse/Firefly: If it were three years, I'd say yes. I don't want to watch another JW show span seven years after suffering through the demise of Buffy. On the other hand, Serenity is all the closure I need with FF and I wouldn't much enjoy the show without Wash or Sheppard.
Star Wars: No no no, no more Star Wars drek ever.
Pushing Daisies/Glee: Oh goodness yes. I'd give up everything else I'm watching to get Pushing Daisies back... except maybe for Dollhouse.
American Idol: No. Once Simon is done with Idol, so am I.
Star Trek: Of course not.
Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice: N/A
Terminator: I think the whole Terminator thing has played out.
Lost: N/A -- I hate shows where the writers just make crap up as they go.
Indiana Jones: Ambivalent. Now, if we were talking about the Harrison Ford from 25 years ago...
Chuck: N/A
Heath Ledger: Yeah, good edit there. The orginal question was a new low for this site, one I never thought I'd see TWOP hit.
Incredibles: No.
Heroes: I can't believe this show is still on the air and Pushing Daisies was canceled.
LOST - I'd be happy to stay in the hatch without knowing a thing
I'm not actually sure what is offensive about the Heath Ledger question. Maybe the answer is obvious but the level of outrage here is a bit ridiculous. No one needs to apologize.
I absolutely cannot pick between Glee and Pushing Daisies. PD was a magical show, and I'd give just about anything for it to come back, but I'm loving Glee.
"I'm not actually sure what is offensive about the Heath Ledger question. Maybe the answer is obvious but the level of outrage here is a bit ridiculous. No one needs to apologize."
The original question was, if you could push a button (meaning: kill) Heath Ledger, but get more sequel or let Heath Ledger live but no more sequel, would you do it?
Batman: When you say Joel Schumacher I remember Batman's ass shot when Batman and Robin gets into their costumers. So, no. That guy obviously has no knowledge or respect for the series.

(since the reply button doesn't work)
Leah - you do realize that it is a thought experiment and that my answer in no way kills Heath Ledger again, right?
Dollhouse/Firely: N/A (sorry, not a Whedon girl, although I do have love for Nathan Fillion)
Star Wars: No, I would not. Just...let it die.
Glee/PD: This is definitely the hardest one for me, but I think I might have to say yes. As long as we got the see the rest of the already-shot Glee episodes. I miss PD so much. :(
AI: Can I press a button that sends everything AI-related into some sort of black hole? Please?
Star Trek: No, absolutely not--I don't want it to win Best Picture, and I definitely want sequels. (I think I'm pulling for Nine.)
Grey's: No; I don't hate Izzie (quite) as much as everyone else does. I want to see her resolve things with Alex. And I really don't like PP.
Terminator: Noooo, no, definitely not.
Lost: GOD, no. I don't want to know the end until it's right on my TV and I'm shrieking and throwing things. As God intended.
Indy: No, no more, please.
Chuck: I'm bitter that Chuck lived and PD died, so to hell with 'im.
Joker: No, definitely not--one awesome Joker movie was enough. Leave the people wanting more.
Pixar: NO! My life needs Pixar! And The Incredibles isn't my favorite.
Heroes: Sylar is the *only* thing that keeps me occasionally glancing over my shoulder when my roomie's watching the show, so no. Hell no.
Dollhouse/Firefly: Yes. The movie was a good wrap-up.
Star Wars: NO. The series is done. Leave well enough alone.
PD/Glee: Hardest for me, but as much as I love Glee, I would do ANYTHING for more Ned/Chuck, Emerson snark, and Olive singing.
Idol: I don't CARE. Reality shows need to DIE.
Star Trek: NO! As amazing as it was, I don't know if it WAS the best movie this year and I can't wait for the sequels!
Grey's: No. I just fast-forward through most of the Izzie parts anyway, and ever PP would be torture.
Terminator: No.
Lost: NO!!! That ruins the whole viewing process!
Indy: No. It's done.
Chuck: No. It makes that movie that much more special.
Pixar: NO! I'd rather have more original Pixar than just ONE more movie that's a sequel.
Heroes: Yes, as long as I don't have to watch it.
Ok lets see...
Dollhouse/ Firefly- Well no, assuming NOT clicking the button doesn't automatically mean Dollhouse doesn't get renewed. I just wanna hold onto the tiny chance of more Firefly please.
Star Wars- Actually...yeah. Not saying I'll WATCH it though.
Pushing Daisies/Glee- Didn't watch Pushing Daisies, so not really relevant, but Glee is FUN!
American Idol- NO! Jeez people, Simon is the only interesting thing left on that show.
Star Trek- No. Sequels>Awards
Grey's Anatomy- Don't watch it.
Terminator- Yes.
Lost- No! Why on earth would I?
Indiana Jones- I don't understand this qustion- how can there be an Indiana Jones movie without Harrison Ford?
Chuck- No...I wanna have both...
Dark Knight- Awww....no. What point would there be in more Batman Films if they all suck?
Incredibles- No. I'd rather have more Pixar.
Heroes- No, I don't see any benefit here. I LIKE Heroes, but EIGHT SEASONS? Plus, Sylar's not that bad people.
Like many of you the Pushing Daisies vs. Glee is the only "Sophie's Choice" for me.
And I totally still can't answer it. I don't know. I love both shows so much.
But on reflection I miss Daisies more than I think I'd miss Glee, so I guess you have my answer.
The only one that I would absolutely say yes to is the Pushing Daisies one. Look, Glee is fun, but let's not even pretend it's in the same league as Pushing Daisies was. I would cancel all TV except Mad Men to get Pushing Daisies back.
Why not let us vote on a poll? Radio buttons are fun.
Dollhouse: This is the most difficult. Yes, only because Serenity gave me closure.
Star Wars: No.
Pushing Daises: Yes!
Idol: Hell no.
Star Trek: No.
Grey's: No.
Terminator: Yes.
Lost: What, no.
Indiana Jones: ...Yes? Why not.
Chuck: YES!
Revised Dark Knight question: No. Absolutely not.
Pixar: No, no, no, no, no.
Heroes: Don't care.
Anything to keep Izzie off Grey's Anatomy. Anything.
Firefly/Dollhouse: No. Dollhouse is not good enough to write off Firefly forever
Star Wars: No! Star Wars is the story of the fall and redemption of Anakin Skywalker, there is no place for more movies after Return of the Jedi.
PD/Glee: Push It! Push It Good! Sorry, as much as I love Glee I love PD a thousand times more.
Idol: Yes, only if because if Simon's gone Idol ratings would tank.
Star Trek: NO! A Best Oscar Win is not worth never seeing Zach Quinto as Spock ever again.
Grey's Anatomy: No. There is no way I could watch even a single episode of Private Practice. I don't watch Grey's anyway so they can keep their Izzie.
Terminator: Yes. In a heartbeat yes.
Lost: No, not interested.
Indiana Jones: So wait, Harrison would star in this movie and then retire? Ok then Yes. If you mean Harrison retires and doesn't star in this movie then Hell-to-the-No.
Chuck: Yes. My love of this show goes way beyond Sarah/Chuck.
Dark Knight: Really? You're asking this question? Too soon. Anyway I'm assuming if two more movies would be made Heath Ledger would live past TDK, and thusly I have to say yes, because any amount of bad movie is obviously worth Heath Ledger's life.
Incredibles: No. Pixar is too good to give up for one movie.
Heroes: Yes. Sylar dying would probably be one of th best things for the show. Samuel is proving a better villain in any case.
I doubt there will be a Firefly reunion, but I don't want 7 seasons of Dollhouse, so NO.
Star Wars: Um... NO, the prequels were bad enough.
Glee: NO, I love Glee and never saw PD.
American Idol: Don't care.
Star Trek: NO. The Oscars don't matter, but more movies does.
Grey's Anatomy: Ugh, I don't even watch anymore, so NO.
Terminator: Don't care.
Lost: Not even. I like the suspense.
Indiana Jones: Still don't care.
Chuck: I'd rather the show end in a good and satisfying way than have it go on for a long time, so I don't know.
Dark Knight: I thought the idea was that Heath Ledger would still be dead, we'd just have two more movies with him in them? In which case, NO. But if it somehow means he gets to live, YES?
Incredibles: Pixar has made better movies than the Incredibles, so NO.
Heroes: Don't care.
Dollhouse/Firefly: No.
Star Wars: No, but I wouldn't watch them regardless.
Pushing Daisies/Glee: Probably Yes.
American Idol: Who cares?
Star Trek: Absolutely not. I enjoy the films, but I wouldn't consider the movie a Best Picture contender.
Grey's Anatomy/Private Practice: Grey's are on the what now?
Terminator: No - 3-D AND CGI are over-rated, and the idea's been beaten to death.
Lost: No, because I don't watch that show.
Indiana Jones: Probably not , but again, if it was as ridiculous as my friends tell me the last one was, I wouldn't watch regardless.
Chuck: If I watched it, I'd probably say "yes," because I don't care about romantic relationships, & have seen them ruin so many shows.
Dark Knight: Oh, HELL no. I'd kill HL myself if it would prevent that from happening.
Incredibles. YES!
Heroes: Meh, I don't watch it now, I figure I could avoid it for another 8 years.
RE: The Heath Ledger question. What the hell are you people reading into the question? It didn't say Ledger wouldn't have died, it just says more movies would have been made. You people are ridiculous.
DH/FF: dont care
SW: dont care
PD/Glee: N-O No!
AI: no way - simon's the bestest one
ST: hells no - there has to be sequels
GA/PP: considering that my interest in grey's has plummeted overall, no
Term.: what would be the point?
Lost: no cuz i really dont care
IJ: was never an indie fan
Chuck: dont care
TDK/HL/JS: goodness grief! now that's a frikking hard one
TI/P: ahh....no - i still think the incredibles was just ok
H/S: normally, i wouldn't care but if it means freeing him up for more Star Trek sequels then by all means
Firefly: No, Joss Whedon shows seem to go bad after a certain amount of time, so I don't think Dollhouse could last another seven seasons and still be good. Plus, Firefly was Joss' best show in my opinion.
Star Wars: Absolutely not. Star Wars just needs to die.
Glee: I never got in to Pushing Daisies, and Glee's pretty much my favorite show on right now, so no.
American Idol: I'm pretty apathetic about this one, so no.
Star Trek: The Oscars don't mean anything. No.
Grey's Anatomy: Don't watch either show, so no.
Terminator: CGI is actually a very good tool when used correctly. I would press the button for this one.
Lost: Never got into it, so I don't care. No.
Indiana Jones; No, Harrison Ford is the only Indiana Jones, so no.
Chuck: Those two definitely deserve a happy ending and I think I would be disappointed if they did not end up together. I'd also get tired of the constant will they won't they. No.
Dark Knight: I don't think we would have gotten as good a performance from Ledger if Schumacher was the director. No.
Incredibles: No. I've enjoyed most of the movies that Pixar has put out.
Heroes: Let this show die. No.
Health Ledger question is in incredibly poor taste.
Wow, people really will take any excuse they can get to be Very Personally Offended, won't they? The question wasn't about whether Heath Ledger would have been alive any longer; it was about his excellent portrayal of the Joker being drawn out over the course of three movies with a less-than-stellar director. Also: it is a game. Heath Ledger was not your BFF. You do not get to be Very Personally Offended by this. Please, Please, twitterchildren: get over yourselves.
Hahah, if you're getting offended, then you're not getting it at all. If he went on to film a sequel, only Schumacher makes the next one, the dilemma is that it's going to suck anyway, so it might not be worth another movie. His life is not even on the table here.
Pushing Daisies is a no-brainer for me. Even if every other show ever was cancelled just to have this one back, it would still be so worth it...
And if they'd finally darn kill Sylar, I'll gladly sit through ten more seasons of Heroes, watching every episode twice.
