God, I feel old.
Back to the Future: 25th Anniversary Trilogy
If you were as freaked out by that abandoned footage of Eric Stolz as Marty McFly as I was, then you probably will want to get this new 25th anniversary edition of Back to the Future, with plenty of behind-the-scenes footage, deleted scenes, commentaries and interviews for all three installments, plus storyboards of the original ending to Part 1. No word on that long-awaited documentary on the creepy kid who played Doc Brown's son, but maybe for the 35th anniversary edition.
Winter's Bone
When her meth-cooking father skips bail, a teenage girl has to find out where he's gone before bail bondsman take the family home. But she has to do it between taking care of her mother and two younger siblings, and without ticking off her father's old business partners. A tense trip through the rural Missouri crime scene, it's like Brick, but with less 1940s dialogue and more cattle auctions. Includes deleted scenes, a making-of doc and an alternate opening. (Also available via Movies on Demand.)
Yes, Virginia, There Is a Santa Claus
The presence of Neil Patrick Harris in this animated Christmas special automatically guarantees it holiday classic status.
The Girl Who Played With Fire
The second installment in the "Girl" trilogy, which is currently having its soul extracted and injected into an American remake that will probably not be as good. (Also available via Movies on Demand.)
Sex and the City 2
What more do I have to say about this painful sequel, besides the fact that the extras -- a look at the soundtrack with Alicia Keys and something called "Revisiting the '80s" -- sound even more disappointing? (Also available via Movies on Demand.)
Alien Anthology (Blu-ray)
The ultimate Alien gift set, including theatrical editions and special editions/director's cuts of all four movies, plus deleted scenes, making-of docs, and pre-production and post-production artwork. Until they make that prequel with Anne Hathaway and James Franco, this is the most definitive chronicling of the Alien phenomenon you can get... excepting the AVP fiascos, of course.
Lake Placid 3
Oh, Colin Ferguson. Was there not enough gratuitous nudity on Eureka for you? Or were you tempted by the lure of working with Yancy Butler?
Chaser
This Korean Best-Picture winner follows a pimp as he tries to figure out what happened to one of his girls, ultimately leading him into a game of cat and mouse against a devious serial killer. Pimping ain't easy, but it is an edge-of-your-seat thrill ride.
Cannibal Girls
Eugene Levy in an exploitation comedy about cannibals? You could not keep me away.
Psychomania
Zombie bikers get revenge on hippies. 'Nuff said.

The Girl Who Played with Fire is the second installment, not the final installment. The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest is the final installment, and is out in theaters this weekend.
