Over the course of his career, Liam Neeson has proven his mettle against an international prostitution ring, Sith lords, a haunted house and Batman. Now in the new Joe Carnahan-directed survival tale, The Grey, the Irish actor takes on one of his fiercest opponents: a pack of wild wolves.
The Grey casts Neeson as Ottway, one of the few survivors of a plane crash that strands him and five other men in the Alaskan wilderness, far, far away from any signs of civilization. Besides their wolfish adversaries, the group has to contend with such natural dangers as blindingly thick snowstorms, towering cliffs and rushing rapids. The movie's depiction of the great outdoors is grim and bleak enough to make you never want to leave your house again. Watch our Trailers Without Pity team break down the movie's trailer and look for The Grey when it arrives in theaters on January 27.
