TV lovers, there's a lot of TV coming out on DVD today, plus Tyler Perry's Friday the 13th, The Seventh Seal: Extended Killer Cut and the Criterion Collection edition of Madea Goes to Jail. Just kidding, although I would watch any and all of those movies. But first: the cartoon that inspired Michael Bay to have a robot pee on John Turturro.
Whether or not you've read the children's book it's based on, you're probably as curious as I am to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, the upcoming animated film from Sony. I mean, come on -- it's a movie about food falling from the sky! Even if you don't consider the more horrific aspects of what that implies, it's something that's never been seen on film before -- although Adam Sandler's new movie Bedtime Stories apparently features a hail of gumballs. But does it feature as amazing a cast as Cloudy?
Geeks everywhere are freaking out because director Sam Raimi, who has somehow not lost a drop of geek cred after the musical dance extravaganza that was Spider-Man 3, mentioned Burn Notice darling Bruce Campbell and "another Evil Dead" in the same sentence at Comic-Con. Now, as a result, geeks are reporting that Evil Dead 4 is in the works. Well, let's take a step back now.

When it comes to aging action figures, Ash is still in comparatively good shape, which is why actor Bruce Campbell is ready to strap the boomstick back on for Evil Dead 4. Despite the fact that it's been 16 years since the last Dead movie, Army of Darkness, came out, Campbell thinks that Ash still has the war against the deadites well in hand --- er, chainsaw.
