They're herrrrrre! And they're being remaaaaaaaade!!! The Poltergeist remake has found two screenwriters willing to build their story on ancient (circa. 1982) screenplay burial ground. Juliet Snowden and Stiles White will be taking the Freelings through their latest encounter with ghosts who pull little girls into the TV. The original is a classic that still scares me (I hate clowns...) and I'm disgusted that this is even being considered. Especially since, according to an episode of True Hollywood Story, the Poltergeist series is cursed. Since I can't stop them from making it, I can at least hope CNN's kidnap-happy Nancy Grace has a cameo.

Break out your brush and stay away from open flame, New Line is about to bust out more Hairspray. The studio has made a deal with the musical's creator John Waters to write a treatment for a sequel to the 2007 hit. According to Variety, director-choreographer Adam Shankman will return for another go, along with producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, as well as songwriters Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, who've pledged to write new songs for the film. And while none of the original cast has signed on yet for a sequel, the story will pick up back in 1962 and follow the Turnblad family after the resolution of the first movie. Hairspray has grossed over $200 million since its release last summer, and New Line wants a new one for a summer release in 2010.

It's not hard to find a glamorous vampire, or a kickass vampire. You can find scary ones, creepy ones, ones that make you want to sleep with garlic in your pajama pockets. But the movies are full of sexy, seductive immortals, too. Sure, the bloodsuckers in Interview With a Vampire and those in all the variations of Bram Stoker's Dracula are well-known, but what about those who toil away in box office obscurity? Before the cool teen vampire flick Twilight comes out later this month, here are a few vampires you may not have met before.
