Separate but Sequel, The Casting Conch, You Got Comic Book in My Movie
Web Auction Shows Lack of Common Spider-SenseAttention all Spider-Man fans: Start raiding your 401K and get thee to eBay. Sony Pictures, along with charity Stand Up to Cancer is auctioning off a trip to the Spider-Man 4 set on the auction website, even though the film has not yet had any talent attached, nor, I believe, is it yet written (though IMDb has James Vanderbilt credited with the screenplay). Regardless, Sony plans to release something in 2011, and if you're willing to drop enough scratch, you could be there to watch the movie magic happen.

Who Watches the Commercials?You're going to hear this a lot between now and March 6th, 2009, when the movie comes out (mostly right here), but Watchmen is a really good comic book. How good? So good that it has commercials in it, and you actually want to read them. Okay, so they're fake ads for various fictional products put out by the World's Smartest Man, Ozymandias (left), a former member of the superteam the Minutemen, but that's beside the point.
