When Warner Bros. spun the Hollywood Wheel o' Remakes today, it landed on "Video Games." So they hired screenwriter David Hayter, currently bringing his own Hayter-ation to the Watchmen adaptation, to pen the screenplay for the Capcom game, Lost Planet. According to Variety, "The vidgame revolves around an expedition to an ice planet that harbors an energy source with the potential to save mankind." I sure hope this energy source costs less than the $56 the BP gas station mugged me for a few minutes ago. With my luck, the energy source in question will be Soylent Green.

Adam Beach (Windtalkers, Law & Order: SVU) is living in a fantasy land, populated by dinosaurs. And in this world that he lives in, he is apparently part of a new Turok: Dinosaur Hunter movie that he thinks is very close to being made. Granted, yes, he was the voice of Turok in the recent Turok: Son of Stone straight-to-DVD animated movie, but talking to MTV News like a live-action movie is in development seems a little premature, doesn't it?

Dear Sir. You must really like to work. You've been in 17 films in the last five years, and you seems to take the good roles as readily as the bad ones. They don't all have to be Gandhi, Sir Ben, but think about what you're doing! Suspect Zero and You Kill Me weren't bad. Bloodrayne and Thunderbirds weren't good. We assume you made The Love Guru to be in a blockbuster and The Wackness to make out with an Olsen twin, but The Prince of Persia? Really?
