In the first Twilight film, we learn that Jacob Black is a member of the Native American Quileute tribe -- in the sequel New Moon, we find out he's also a werewolf. Not bound by the full moon, the Blacks can transform on command into oversized but otherwise normal-looking wolves. While not particularly creative, it's certainly a refreshing change of pace from the way Native American werewolves are normally portrayed in movies, and there are a lot of them. While most ignore the specifics of the legend, most films that combine werewolves and Native Americans cannibalize the myth (or at least the name) of the "skin-walker,'' a witch or shaman who has committed murder or another deplorable act to gain power or take revenge. (Episodes of Supernatural and The Dresden Files have, as well.) Here are some films that touch on the skin-walker legend.

We have to admit, Pixar seems to be able to do no wrong. Every time they make a new movie, they try to do something unique and different -- talking race cars, cooking rats, mute robots -- and each time it turns out to be a hit. But are they really all that unique and different? We've seen a bunch of footage from their newest film, Up, and we can see a bunch of similarities to their previous films. Are all Pixar movies pretty much the same story? Doesn't everyone tell the same story, in a way? Isn't life just one big story that's forever being told? Ponder that one as we search for patterns in the Pixar universe.

Angels and Demons opens this weekend, and boy, does it look... exactly the same as The Da Vinci Code, except this time Tom Hanks has a decent haircut. And when the defining characteristic of your lead character is his haircut, you may be in trouble. (In other words, don't expect to beat Star Trek, Tom.) We're kinda disappointed, because usually Hanks delivers memorable, distinctive performances, whether good (Philadelphia) or bad (Bosom Buddies). Putting aside his famously Oscar-winning performance and his first steady cross-dressing job, we thought we'd run down the five roles that make Hanks a saint in our eyes, and the five that make him the devil.

Disney's live-action movies have been enchanting generations of kids with their wild fantasies since the 1950s, and they've recently undergone something of a renaissance. From The Shaggy Dog and Race to Witch Mountain to next year's Tron 2 and Swiss Famiy Robinson, Disney has been slowly updating all of their classics one by one. Now Terminator: Salvation director McG is preparing to make a new 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, about the submarine terrorist Captain Nemo, and while the rumor that Race star Dwayne Johnson would star was recently shot down, we're curious to see who McG will cast (he's aiming for Will Smith). It's gotten us thinking about other classic Disney films that are due for a remake (or a sequel, a la Tron), so we came up with ten that we could see Disney dusting off.

We've sent the studio angry letters, but this movie is still coming out. Seriously, Zach Galifianakis and Will Arnett? Seriously? Times are so tight that you have to take jobs in a movie about government-trained, black-ops guinea pigs? We don't care if those guinea piga are voiced by some of the biggest TV and movie stars working today. They aren't showing their faces! You, on the other hand, are. Also not showing their faces? The animated hosts of "Trailers Without Pity," Omar and Pablo Gallaga, who break down the G-Force trailer for people who may not be able to believe what they're seeing. Summer is almost here! You may disagree with us, saying June is still over a month a away, but Hollywood would disagree with you. The summer movie season starts May 1, with the release of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, and it doesn't let up until August! Have you ever bit into a Jelly Belly jellybean, expecting it to be something tasty, like Toasted Marshmallow, but instead it's something nasty, like Buttered Popcorn? I totally got ready for marshmallows when I saw a news story that announced that there was a trailer out for the movie G-Force. I was like, "Awesome! Finally, a full trailer for the sure-to-be-excellent computer-animated movie about a team of five crime fighters in bird suits, based on the Japanese cartoon of the same name that I grew up watching!" Then I clicked the link, and the taste of Buttered Popcorn jellybeans filled my mouth. G-Force the movie is something totally, totally different, and totally, totally nauseating.
