Judging by the trailer, it looks like Sandler plays a guy named Skeeter, who's basically a loser, but who loves his little kids. He's like the idiot uncle or something. And there's a giant cartoonish gerbil. Oh, and Courteney Cox Arquette. How sad for her that she's back to being the girl in a goofball's starring vehicle, just like back in the Ace Ventura days with Jim Carrey. Anyway, Skeeter tells the kids stories and then Sandler appears in each scenario. And then the stories start coming true. Sandler says: "That's weird." I say: "Exactly." Russell Brand makes a brief appearance, though, so that might be funny, at least. But do you know what's not funny? Adam Sandler spraying flame-resistant Christmas tree spray in his eye to prove that another guy is a wuss for thinking it hurts. Again, idiot uncle. Key word being idiot.
