Annie meets Gavin in DUMBO (I know it's a lovely backdrop, show, but why would they go all the way there?) and tells him what she did and asks for help. Gavin says he can make Kandinsky go away, but she needs to write an article about the corrupt city planning commission. Annie doesn't want anyone else to get hurt, except for maybe her makeup artist, who has caked the foundation on her forehead to cover up an unfortunate skin situation in a way that is truly unsettling in HD, and Gavin assures her "no innocent lives will be lost." He tells her he'll give her what she needs to know and Kandinsky will never bother her again.
Lobby. Olivia tells Tony she's going out and he should have the car outside at seven. Tony catches her and gives back her diamond brooch. She asks if Jane caught the thief and he says no, he just found a bag of stuff on his desk. Further evidence that Jane is a dumbass. Who leaves a bag of valuables in plain sight in a heavily trafficked area? Olivia leaves, passing Henry, who was checking his mail. He goes to the elevator and uses a key to go up to the penthouse. Hmm. How'd he get that? He walks in and heads for Gavin's office. He copies the Greenpoint Towers document onto a flash drive, and then sees another document titled with his and Jane's names. The elevator dings and Olivia comes back in. Henry copies the other file as well, grabs the flash drive (leaving behind the little end cover), and runs for the fire escape when Olivia leaves the room. He clatters down the stairs, and then notices he forgot the cap for the flash drive. This is why people use cloud storage, dumb-dumb.
Jane and Henry's. She's asking what he thinks of her outfit and he's staring conflictedly at the flash drive. She asks if he's met Nona's grandmother. No, because Nona hacked her up and shoved her into that suitcase in your closet! Jane says Nona reminds her of herself at fourteen, lonely and angry at the world. Henry tucks the flash drive away in his pocket and asks if they can skip the big to-do and just go watch the game at a bar. Jane can't believe he'd want to miss out on going to the mayor's house, but he says he's kidding. She goes to the closet to stare at the suitcase, which is fiddling itself around again, then they leave.
In the elevator they run into Nona, who says she guesses Jane told Henry that Nona is the thief. Henry says she didn't and Jane confirms that she won't tell anyone unless other things start disappearing. Nona thanks them, then stumbles as she's getting off the elevator and grabs Henry's wrist. I'd forgotten that Nona has the sight or something, because she gets black-and-white flashes of Henry getting shot in the chest. Henry asks if she's okay, and she says she is. Henry goes to get a cab and Nona tells Jane to keep Henry away from the man with the compass tattoo.
