Take Me To The River

Gov: "Hey, so my daughter came home and shit got weird. Do you know anything about that?"
Eric: "Hmmmm... Fuck you?"
Gov: "I am going to keep yelling at you about it!"
Eric: "Cool, go for it."
Gov: "Most of all, fuck you for making me put my daughter in Camp Ire."

His face falls, the glee and the Ericness of him just fall away, because he can't believe it. (You can tell based on something in his face that the Kermitness is about to erupt, but his rage is so holy that it isn't even funny this time. Just sad.)

Eric: "How could you do that to your own daughter? To our daughter?"
Gov: "You did it. You."

Sarah: "Cue the stake?"
(A two-foot stake appears in one of the wall panels, and Eric picks it up.)
Eric: "Maybe humans aren't worthy of survival either, if you could do this."
Sarah: "You're going to love this."
Steve: "I helped!"

...And it's Pam. They stare at each other, disgusted and sad and horrified, and every word either of them says ricochets around them: Pam said the bond is over, when it's over, and she said no nest ever lasts, and she said she was so impeccably remorseless. And Eric, well. He killed a man's daughter last night. The Newlins and Burrell get more and more antsy as they watch, but Godric's line doesn't blink. They barely move, stakes in hand.

Corbett has finally arrived at the bridge, decades late. She gets one good shot in, but it doesn't help.

Sookie: "Lemme go!"
Lala: "I'm so sorry, sweetheart. Last time, I put NyQuil in your juice. You were out cold, you'd never have known..."

Sookie begs, calls him Daddy. Lafayette takes her down to the water, arms around her. It's obliteratingly tough and awful to watch... And then she's under. It happens fast, it happens slow.

Eric comes after Steve and Bill and Lilith fight it out, but only after every father/daughter pair in the whole show goes after each other for the second week in a row. Oh, and Bill finally figures out that everybody has been kidnapped like he was saying the other day.
